Sprinkled With Life Spoiling

On Saturday I had a morning of spoiling with four other members of the weSTAMP Team at our upline Lorri Heiling's house.  We had a wonderful brunch with gifts and projects - that we didn't have to prep for - Yayyy!  As Demonstrator's we're always preparing for our customers, but this time Lorri prepared for us and we we spoiled and pampered!  It was so great!

Thank You Lorri!

Here is one of the cards we made today - isn't it just adorable!?

And So Simple!

Tip Top Taupe base 11" x 4 1/4" - scored at 5 1/2"
Cone - Tip Top Taupe and fussy cut out - so easy to do though.
Ice Cream Scoops - Mint Macaron, So Saffron and Blushing Bride

Splatter some Gorgeous Grunge matching ink and it's done.

Add a sentiment outside and inside and you have a perfect birthday card.

Thank you for looking in today.  Come back tomorrow for more!

Sea Street Birthday

Is you first thought "Is that a new DSP she's using on this cute card?"  Well, you would be partially correct, it's new and it's designer, but it's not designed by Stampin' Up!  It was made by me (and my Stampin' Write markers).

I saw this cute card done by Brandy Cox and just had to give it a try.  I love how it turned out!

To make this card, you'll want to have the following markers:

Pacific Point
Bermuda Bay
Tempting Turquoise
Tangerine Tango
Daffodil Delight

Begin with a piece of 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score it at 4 1/4"

Other measurements, while we're here:
Pacific Point 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Tempting Turquoise 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Whisper White 3 1/4 x 3 1/4"

Using the brush end of your pen, begin with Pacific Point and draw a line across the top edge of the card base.  Hold the brush more flat that upright to give a nice thick line.  Don't worry about how straight or perfect it is.  This is meant to be fun and unique, so just do your best and keep going.

Next use Bermuda Bay, then Tempting Turquoise.  Then I used Tangerine Tango and started over again with Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay and Tempting Turquoise.  This time though, use Daffodil Delight.  Or ... go in the order you like them best.  Have fun with it!

Stamp the Octopus from Sea Street on a separate piece of Whisper White and the HB (for Happy Birthday) balloon from Age Awareness.  Next... (don't yell at me, but) fussy cut the Octopus and the balloon.  Trust me, it's easy and you don't have to go around all the small areas of the legs since it will be on a Whisper White background.  The one you will want to cut a little tighter would be where he is holding the balloon, which also needs a fussy cut.  (sorry!)  It will be worth it, trust me!

To stamp the fish, stamp them off first and then onto your Whisper White square.

Don't forget to decorate the inside too!  Oh, and the envelope!  You're going to love it!

Today I'm heading to the house of my fabulous upline, Lorri Heiling where she's having a "Founders Circle" for six of us on her team who have recruited during the last few months.  I'm so excited!  This is my 2nd time to go and I can hardly wait to see what fun projects she has for us, plus a fabulous lunch and dessert!  Yum!

Thank you for looking in today.  I hope you enjoy this cute card and will give it a try, either with this set or any other sets you have, play with color combinations and enjoy.

My "happy" Birthday!

I wanted to share this sooner, but kept forgetting to bring it home from the office to take a good picture of it!

Isn't it awesome?  It was made by Linda Weedon for my birthday this year!  I think it is so awesome!  Totally impressed with the patience to attach THREE "happy" die cuts on the front.

The balloon theme even carries over to the inside!  I love this card!  I think I'm going to have to CASE a customer for a change instead of the other way around.  How cool is that?  :)

Here's a close up of the three "happy"'s   I just LOVE this card!  It's going back to the office with me tomorrow to hang up again to show off!

Thank you LINDA!  You've come a LONG way from our beginning card-making days!  So glad to have you as a friend and customer (oh, and one of my bosses too!  lol)!

Thank you for looking in today!  It's FRIDAY!!

Thank You For Your Service

Ok, so this is a little late for Memorial Day, but I couldn't post it earlier... it was for my swap at our Team Meeting on Tuesday night.  Now that we've met and voted on the favorite swap, I can share.

Guess what?  I won!  I was so excited!

This cute card was made with Sprinkles of Life - which is a special set because $3.00 from each set goes to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  I love this set!

I stamped the cone with VersaMark and then sprinkled it with Clear Embossing Powder onto Chocolate Chip card stock.  I fussy cut the cone out, but it was very easy to cut, so give it a try!

The "ice cream" was also stamped with VersaMark but I used Whisper White Embossing Powder on the Night of Navy card stock and the Real Red card stock.  Onto the Whisper White I used Silver Embossing Powder.

It would have been nice to have had the Lucky Stars embossing folder, but that's on my wish list!  Next time, maybe in time for 4th of July!

The "thank you" is from Sassy Salutations and punched with the Note Tag punch.  I added "stitches" with my Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker.

Thank YOU for looking in today.

Be sure to read this on my blog (in case you receive it in an email) so you can see the products used for this card.

This is my 2nd post today so I can share this week's Weekly Deals.  Be sure to check out my first post HERE.

Starburst Zoo Babies

Have you ever waited too long to order something you love?  I did... it was the Starburst thinlits.  It hasn't been very long since I purchased these and now they are retiring!  Makes me sad!

SO, don't be like me and wait too long.  The new catalog starts a week from tomorrow so don't let any more time slip away before your favorite items are gone!

Today's card is bright and simple using Zoo Babies stamp set - which thankfully is NOT retiring!  It is such a cute set!

Can you tell the difference in the elephant on these two cards?  The top card shows me that I needed to re-ink my ink pad.  I've actually found several this weekend that needed juicing up.

You might want to look at yours and see who needs a little extra ink to make your stamping beautiful!

Well, it's back to work tomorrow, so this girl is headed to bed and setting this post for midnight!

I hope you had a great weekend.

Thank you for looking in today - be sure to check out the Weekly Specials!

The Paper Pumpkin for May is awesome!  The kit came with everything needed to make 6 cards and 4 awesome gift bags.  The bags are very sturdy and even came with enough heavy tissue paper to decorate inside the bag to make the beautiful yellow balloons as well as enough to wrap a nice sized gift to go inside behind the balloons.

Here you can see a front view as well as the side view.  I am amazed at how strong the paper is for these bags.

There's even a great balloon with a string stamp to decorate the envelope.

Would you like to see what's in the next two months kits for HALF PRICE?  If you sign up before June 10th, you can!

Sign up HERE and put in the promo code - SAVE50.  This is the perfect time to check it out.  Sadly, this is for first time subscribers only, but don't let that stop you.  Returning subscribers can still enjoy the fun of receiving a monthly creative escape, but at regular price.

Be sure you select me, Donna Kish - Phoenix, AZ  85018 as your Demonstrator.  Send me an email and I'll send you a thank you surprise!

Happy Hour Cheers!

Happy Hour will be over soon... I've enjoyed using this set over the years but now it's time to say goodbye, or very nearly.  June 2nd will be the last day to get this stamp set, so if it is one to add to your collection, do it soon!

In order to get this look, I stamped each glass in Memento Black a few times (just in case my fussy cutting got out of control) and then stamped them again in colors - Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry and Tangerine Tango.

Then the fussy cutting began - cutting out the colors and glueing them on to the black and then onto the card stock.  I did stamp two of the black ones onto the card directly - the Melon Mambo glass and the Tempting Turquoise.

Add some bubble bling rhinestones and it's beautiful!  Oh and behind the glasses, I stamped the straight line stamp from Gorgeous Grunge in Smoky Slate.

Thank you for looking in today.  Remember to thank a Soldier this weekend for their service to our country.

Catalog Casing

Do you ever have trouble finding something to make?  No, me either! Ha!

But, in case we do (notice I said "we" - cuz I totally draw a blank sometimes), we can always look inside our Annual Catalog and find something perfect to CASE (Copy And Share Everything).  As a Demonstrator, we are able to pre-order from the new Annual Catalog before the general public does, and so I was thrilled to be able to CASE this one from page 105.

Now, the "E" in CASE doesn't have to mean "Everything" as you'll see below when you compare it to the catalog page.  I don't have the Chevron Border punch as used in the catalog, so I just didn't use it.  Also, I changed up the banner by putting bows made from white bakers twine.

Recipe:

  • Card Base - Soft Sky 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • DSP (with the streamers) - Cherry on Top - 3" x 4" - also used for the banners
  • Bermuda Bay Strip - 3" x 1/2"
  • Cucumber Crush (tiny strip) - 3" x 1/8"
  • Watermelon Wonder - 1 5/8" x 1 3/4" (although I think 2 inches would have been better to make it taller)
  • Whisper White - 2 1/4" x 1/2"
  • Stamp Set - And Many More

Inside the bag is a little bit of kleenex, you could also use tissue paper or our Filter Paper (pg. 148)
Bag Handle - Gold Metallic Baker's Twine (taped to the back)

Inside I added some other banner punched DSP and a "celebrate" from the same stamp set.

You'll notice too, the strip of Washi Tape from Cherry On Top down the left side.  Why, you may ask?  Well, because it looks pretty of course... or if I'm totally honest, which I believe in being ...
it's covering an ink oops that happened before I could close my ink pad!  Ha!

And there you have it, my first CASE from the new Catalog.  June 2nd, you'll be able to start ordering from the new catty as well!  I hope you'll order from me.  I'd love to have you as a customer!

Thank you for looking in today!

Gift Bag Punch Board with Sprinkles

Here's a quick sneak peek at the new Gift Bag Punch Board and what it can make.  I'm going to really enjoy this, once I work up some stronger muscles.  Actually, it's not that hard to do, but I do recommend standing as you punch - much like using our other punch boards.  They do need some leverage behind them.

Mix with your favorite stamps and you can make a gift bag for any occasion!

I just love this cute stamp from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.  I love the whole set because a portion of each sale of this set goes to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Isn't this a great sentiment to add some fun to any card?

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend.  I plan to enjoy it, especially with the holiday (Monday) falling on my birthday!!  Wooo hooo!  Love it when I get the day off for my birthday.

Stay safe and have a piece of cake (or in this case, a cup cake) to celebrate!

Thank you for looking in!

2015 - 2017 In Color Bookmarks

My Annual Bookmarks are finally completed!  I was so excited when my shipment arrived on Wednesday with the last of my In Color goodies (ribbon and markers).  Now I can share these with my customers!  Wooo Hooo!

These are so easy to make.  2" wide and 8 1/2" long - minus the Scallop Tag punch at the top.  I still had a few of my vinyl holders, time to order more!  With or without the vinyl, they are awesome and so much fun to make and share.

Are you ready for a new catalog?  If you don't have one lined up yet, please let me know!  I'd love to send you one if you don't already have a Demonstrator.  Just email me at StampsWellWithOthers@gmail.com.

Thank you for looking in today!

party - party - party

I'm planning my first New Catalog Open House and wanted to make some fun invites for my regular customers so they can mark the date!

What better way than showing off the 2015-2017 In Colors?

For these cards I used our Whisper White Note Cards and Envelopes.

I used Work of Art and Cupcake Party for stamping on the front of the cards.  Inside will be my typed invite with all the details.  If I were brave, I'd attempt to feed the cards through the printer to print the details inside, but the last thing I need is to jam up the printer!

What do you think of the newest In-Colors?  They're growing on me.  My favorites are Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder.

Thank you for looking in today.

Happy Tuesday!

Sprinkles of Life Birthdays

So sorry I went missing the last couple of days.  I just had no crafting mojo in me!  I did get some organizing done though marking my retiring stamps, ribbons, dies and folders. What an undertaking!

Next is working through the DSP's.  That will be huge because I cut them into 6" x 6" squares easy to package up for quick cards or my BOGO sale.

So, today I got out my pre-order papers, stamps and punch and made some cute birthday cards.  I just love the Cherry On Top DSP stack that will be available to you all on June 2nd.  Sooner if you sign up as a Demonstrator - then you can order from the Demo-Only pre-order too!  I'd love to have you on my team.

This first card base is Watermelon Wonder (it looks so much prettier in real life).  DSP is 2" x 5 1/2" and Bermuda Bay is 2 3/8" x 5 1/2"

I stamped the cupcake base onto Delightful Dijon and cut it out with my paper snips.  Then stamping the cupcake top onto a piece of Cherry On Top with tiny little hearts and punched it out with the new Tree Builder Punch.

Then, see those little teeny tiny candles?  Yeah, well I cut them out of the Cherry on Top DSP also, right before I realized the Sprinkles of Life stamp set has a larger candle that would have been so much easier to cut!  ha ha - Jokes on me!  But hey, they are cute! Right?

The sentiments are from two stamp sets.  One that will be retiring June 2nd - Yippee Skippee and the other one is from Big Day, which was a Sale-a-Bration set.  They go so perfectly together.

This card used a base of Bermuda Bay.  The first layer from there is Watermelon Wonder cut at 5 1/4" x 4 and embossed with Large Polka Dot embossing folder.

Then cut one piece of DSP 4" x 2" and two pieces of DSP 4" x 1".  Center the two inch piece on the embossed piece and then add the two one inch pieces on the outside.

The Whisper White is 2" x 3 1/2" piece that was punched with Scalloped Tag Topper.

Thank you for looking in today.

Remember, if you don't have a Demonstrator and would like to have a catalog, please get in touch with me and we'll work out a way to get one to you.

Happy Monday!

~ Donna
