Great Idea for the Designer Series Paper Sale

Have you heard about our Designer Series Paper (DSP) Sale!!?  From October 1st through 31st, when you Buy Three, Get One Free from selected packs.  What a great time to stock up on  your favorites!

With many of our wonderful packs of designer paper on sale through October, I thought I would make some cards to show off the Fruit Stand DSP.  The idea comes from Rachel Tessman (Thank You Rachel!) where she uses all the papers in the set.  I just chose a few of them to make a stack of cards for a friend who asked me for a variety box of greeting cards.

Recipe:

Whisper White Thick Cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White - 3 1/2" x 2"

I used a two different sets of stamps for the sentiments.
Amazing Birthday (drats, retired - why was this still with my current stamps?  LOL)
and Watercolor Words

Peekaboo Peach 3/8" Ruched Ribbon
Real Red 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon

Ink:
Cucumber Crush
Memento Black

Thank you for looking in today.  May you have a Blessed Sunday!  ~ Donna

Fruit Stand Hello

These peaches make my mouth water just looking at them!  Don't they look so tasty?

Recipe:

Peekaboo Peach Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Cucumber Crush - 5 1/4" x 4"
Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper - 5" x 3 3/4"

The lined paper is also from the same piece of paper with the peaches, however they actually run horizontally, so to make the top lined piece, you'll want to cut it from another piece of paper or your lines won't be running vertically.

I cut out one of the peaches and leaves and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from Tin of Cards, stamped in Cucumber Crush and die cut with Layering Circles.

Inside I added a strip of the stripes.

Don't forget the ribbon - be sure to put it on before you adhere the DSP to the Cucumber Crush!  Ask me how I know this...  I used Tear & Tape to stick the ribbon down.  Perfect!

Thank you for looking in today!  ~ Donna
