Happy Hamburger Birthday

I saw this great card on Kay Kalthoff's blog and just had to give it a try.  Sent it to a friend yesterday in southern Arizona, hopefully it arrived in time for the birthday - today!

Stamps: Happiest Birthday Wishes (now retired, but it's what I wanted to use!)
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Bravo Burgundy, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake, Regals Designer Series Paper Stack (Bravo Burgandy).
Ink: Bravo Burgandy, More Mustard for Sponging
Tools: Extra-Large Oval Punch (119859), 1 3/4" Circle Punch (119850), 1 1/4" Square Punch (119865), 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch (119854), Stampin' Sponges (101610), Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334 and Simply Scored Diagonal Plate (125586).
Adhesives: SNAIL Adhesive (104332) and Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), Sticky Strip (104294) for envelope.

I hope it was a success.  The card is for my very best friend's husband who is not only celebrating his birthday, but taking great care of my friend after she had surgery last week.  What a great guy to take such good care of her.

Here's the get well card I made for her.  Isn't it adorable?  I left the top boot loose so it can pivot on the brad so she can really "kick up her heels".

Stamps: Bootiful Occasions (w-126595 / c-126597)
Paper: Cajun Craze, Comfort Cafe DSP
Ink: VersaMark (102283)
Tools: Heat Tool (129053), Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (109129), Embossing Buddy (103083), 3/16" Brights Brads (pumpkin pie used here)
Adhesives: SNAIL Adhesive (104332) and Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

Thanks for looking in.  Hope you're having a great weekend!

Brittney's Workshop

Saturday we had a great gathering for Brittney's workshop.  I'd say it was very successful and Brittney's friends helped her reach her goal of earning a Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine!  Woo Hoo!  Thanks ladies, it was great having you over to the house for some stamping fun.

Above we have (l - r around the table) Brittney, Berta, Kristi and Mary.  They all know when I have my camera anymore and won't look up... I'm going to have to get creative.

Here we have (l-r again) Marie, Barbie, Mary and Melanie.  This was Melanie's first time at a workshop!

Can you say Wish List?  This one is pretty big and it even goes over to the back side!

And last but not least, Brittney' furbaby, Maggie.  Brit couldn't move without the white one following her everywhere!  She's a good dog though and makes a good foot warmer in the winter.

Today's projects are below.  We made the card on the right with Chocolate Chip rather than the one with Rich Razzleberry.  I like them both though.

We also made this adorable baby bottle card.  I posted this in an early blog post, but wanted to post it here too as today's project.

Thanks for looking in.  Hope you had a fabulous weekend.

Three Layer Card

I love all the great ideas out here on the internet and I really love the talent of so many great women that share their talent with us.  This card idea comes from Dawn Olchefske.  I don't have the stamps that she used so I had to improvise, so I suppose this isn't a complete CASE.  haha!

Stamps:  Forever With You, Field Flowers, Blooming with Kindness
Cardstock:  Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Ink:  Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso

Here are the dimensions:

Whisper White / Vanilla = 2" x 3-1/4", 3" x 4-1/4", 4 x 5-1/4"
Rich Razzleberry / Early Espresso = 2-1/4" x 3-1/2", 3-1/4" x 4-1/2", 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (fold for card base)

You can watch Dawn's video for exact details.  It's really very easy and I think you'll love the results.  It looks so much prettier in real life!

Hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day with family and if your Father is only with you in spirit like mine is, then I pray you had a good day of wonderful memories of your precious past with him.

Time to Order New Supplies! Yayyy!

It's finally time for the new catalog to go LIVE!  Wooo Hooo!  I'm so excited to start ordering new things to use at our first workshop.

If you don't have a catalog and would like one, just let me know and we'll talk about how to get one to you.  In the meantime, you can see the catalog online HERE for the flash version or in the right hand column for the PDF version.  Below that you can find the supply list so you can make anything in the catalog.  All the supplies needed are listed according to page and project.  No more wondering what colors or products are used.

So... get ready to thumb through the pages and enjoy all the new products.  I'm off to work on ordering my wish list!

Happy Friday!
