Oh Baby Onesie

As I was looking through my stamps and dies, I realized it had been a long time since I had this set out to play.

Here's what I came up with:

Under the cut out, I attached a piece of DSP about a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" square and then popped up the Whisper White with Stampin' Dimensionals.

When you put your Dimensionals on the back, be sure to place some around the cutout so it will stand up nicely around the edges and not sag onto the card.

Don't forget to use the piece that you cut out - how about inside your card to add a little extra fun!

Sweet Baby Boy

Saw this adorable card on Cindy B.'s blog and just knew I had to give it a go.  I changed it up some so it's not a total CASE, but it's close.

I have to admit, it did take me several attempts to get the ombre effect to work right on the word "baby".  I had a bit of trouble with the ink bleeding outside the lines and had to keep backing off.  With the Blendabilities, I'm just so used to doing a lot of coloring and I had to have a much lighter hand in the small space.

I think it came out pretty good though, if I do say so myself!  The shoes I just kept one shade of blue for ease, but you could certainly blend in some color there as well.

Well, it's way past my bedtime and the next couple of weeks will be very busy at the office, so off I go to get some zzzz's.

Thank you for looking in today - have a great week!

No Pink Elephants...

How about a pink giraffe instead?  Her bow is a bit big, but oh my goodness, the ribbon used here is so soft and fun to play with!  You simply have to try it!

The ribbon is our new 1/4" Cotton Ribbon.  It is smooth and so soft and easy to work with.
