I'd Totally Share

Another fun card from the Share Sunshine Digital Download from Stampin' Up!  I just love these fun sayings and all the proceeds go to a good cause.  Demonstrators don't get any credit for these sales, but that's okay, it is worth it!

Recipe:

Bermuda Bay - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper - 4" x 5 1/4"
One square of toilet paper (pulled two ply apart for one ply)
Download
Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" inside panel

Come to find out, glue dots work great behind toilet paper.  With vellum, you see the dots, with t.p. no show!  Could this be the new vellum??  LOL - not if I have to stand in line over an hour to pray they have it in stock inside Costco!

Can't wait to see which card I'll make tomorrow!!

Thank you for looking in today.  Happy Thursday!

Saying Thanks to Caretakers

The other day I heard on our local news that the credit union we belong to is collecting hand made thank you cards to give to the nurses, doctors, etc. that are working so hard to keep people healthy and back home to their families.  I instantly knew I wanted to make some and get them dropped off.

Here are four that I made on Saturday and I plan to go through my stash of cards and find more to write a little note in and get them sent out.

These were fast and easy (once I figured out my measurements!) and another great way to use up some smaller pieces of cardstock and Designer Series Papers (DSP).

Recipe:
Blackberry Bliss - 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2"
Whisper White - 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
Best Dressed Designer Series Paper - 1 1/4" x 3" (cut three)
Whisper White scrap for sentiment - punched with Story Label Punch
Black Berry Bliss scrap for behind sentiment - punched with Story Label Punch

Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" - inside panel

This one above I didn't add the Blackberry Bliss behind, but I think I like it better with the extra color.

Stamps:  Peaceful Moments
Ink:  Blackberry Bliss
Bling:  Champagne Rhinestone

Thank you for looking in today!  In case you're wondering, it is MONDAY again.  Thankfully I'm still working from home and I'm very happy to be doing so.  Went out to the store today and wore a mask and I have to say, that was miserable.  The mask and I do not get along well at all.

Stay safe, stay healthy and stay connected to family and friends!

Do You Need a Catalog?

It's time for me to order new catalogs and to have them shipped to those of you that are not within delivery distance, so if you'd like to be on my mailing / delivery list, please let me know BEFORE April 28th (next Tuesday).  If you already have a Demonstrator, please order from them as I don't want to snag a customer from someone else.  If you DON'T have a Demonstrator, I'd love to be able to assist you in your crafting adventures!

Email me at StampsWellWithOthers@gmail.com and reserve your catalog today!

Now, on to information about the retiring products!

                                                      Important Information About Retiring Products
  • Some Retiring Items Are Just Being Reconfigured! A few of the dies and an embossing folder will still be available in the new catalog, even though they are listed on the Retired List. They are simply being reconfigured to go with the new die-cutting machine.  YES, there is finally a new die-cutting machine!  I think you will like it!
  • Some Bundles Are Carrying Over! A few of the bundles featured in the Mini Catalog that were experiencing a Non-Orderable status for numerous weeks will be available at the discounted bundle price in the upcoming Annual Catalog!  These include So Sentimental, Peaceful Moments, Painted Labels, Mountain Air, Timeless Tulips and Heartfelt.
  • Shop Retiring Bundles  Remember: Bundles are typically only available for the catalog in which they premiere. Just because a Bundle is retiring, does not necessarily mean that the stamp set is retiring.  There are several of our favorites that are still available, but not as a bundle, so check them out now to get the discount!
  • Some retiring items are discounted from between 20% - 60%! Check out the PDF list for complete details.
  • PDF - Annual Catalog the print is tiny, so use the zoom or resizing tool to read better.
  • PDF - Mini Catalog the print is tiny, so use the zoom or resizing tool to read better.
  • SNAIL Adhesive is retiring, but don't panic!  There are two replacements coming and will be available in the NEW Annual Catalog. Details will come around May 26.
  • Individual Stampin' Blends Markers (as singles) are being retired, but you'll still be able to purchase Combo Packs of Stampin' Blends Markers in the NEW Catalog! If you want individual colors...get them quickly before they sell out!  Stampin' Up! determined most of us purchase these in the combo instead of individually, so that's how they will be offered.
  • Due to high demand for retiring stamp sets, these items will have guaranteed availability until May 26; all other products are not guaranteed and are available while supplies last only.
Have a Blessed Sunday!

HOW TO CONTINUE benefits & discounts.  At a minimum, from the time you join through the end of the first full Stampin’ Up! quarter,  you can take advantage of demonstrator discounts and benefits.  Stampin’ Up! quarters are Jan. – March, April – June, July – Sept., Oct. – Dec.  You will have the balance of the quarter in which you join PLUS the first full quarter to reach your first $300 in sales (includes personal purchases) and renew for another quarter.

JOIN RISK-FREE!  If you reach $300 in sales by the end of the first full Stampin’ Up! quarter, bravo!  You automatically renew your demonstrator discounts and benefits for another quarter..  Reach $300+ in sales (includes your personal purchases) from quarter to quarter to continue to renew.

If you don’t reach $300 in sales by the end of a quarter, you get an additional “grace period” the following month to catch up.  In the event you still don’t reach $300 in sales by the end of the grace period,  you “drop” your demonstrator status with no penalty.

I would love to have you on my team.  We have a nice group of ladies (still waiting for a brave gentleman to join us!) and we have a lot of fun enjoying our crafts and hobby.

Part Two from Soft Subtles

I just had to make another card with these pretty colors.  Did you notice I changed the base and layer colors?  To see the first card, check HERE.  This card is a birthday greeting.  Mailed Saturday for delivery next week!  Hope it's on time.

How about a tip to make tying bows a little easier?  I don't know about you, but for me the hardest part of tying a bow is keeping the ribbon tight.  Here's my tip for making that part easier without borrowing fingers from a friend.  Place a glue dot where you plan to tie the bow and then cross your ribbon over the dot and press down.  Now you can tie your bow without any slippage!

Recipe:
Soft Sea Foam - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"

Have You Sanded Lately?

Did I get your attention with that title?  Good!  Something I haven't done in a very long time is to use an embossing folder on paper and then sand it gently to draw a little more attention to the details.

I'm using the Ornate Garden Suite Collection again and thought the paper I selected would be perfect for the emboss and sand technique.  You can see the paper better in the last picture below.

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick cardstock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper - 4" x 5 1/4"
Terracotta Tile - 1" x 4"
Whisper White - for die cut - apx. 2" x 5"
Whisper White scraps for stamping flowers

Run the DSP through the Ornate Floral 3D folder, then gently sand (and I mean GENTLY) the flowers to bring make the core visible.  You can see the paper below without the emboss.  Pretty by itself, but even prettier with the emboss.

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Friday!
