Fun Fold Update.... Oops...

I thought you should see what happens if you don't pay attention to your direction when cutting, or at least placement!  Oops!

Using the landscape version instead of portrait.  It should NOT look like this!  ha ha ha!

This is what it was SUPPOSED to look like!

Nope!

Nope!

So, following the wise words of a coffee cup I once had, "Measure Twice, Cut Once".  In this case, "Placement First, Then Cut".

Hope you enjoyed my oops!

Triangle Fun Fold

We made this card the other night at our online Zoom Team Meeting.  I really like how it came out!

Highland Heather (base), Calypso Coral (layer), Ice Cream Corner (DSP)

Stamps:  Sweet Ice Cream

Inks:  Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Soft Suede

Start with an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock that you want for your base color - of course, you would choose your Designer Series Papers first so you can decide your colors.

Score at 4 1/4" full sheet and turn and score at 5 1/2" full sheet (black lines) - see photo below.

If you have a paper cutter that is big enough to cut corner to corner (red line) use that.  Mine does not, so I used my ruler and drew a light pencil line from corner to corner and then used my scissors to cut.

Fold on the score lines.

Next select a a coordinating piece of cardstock (different from the one for the base).
Cut it 4" x 5 1/4".
Cut your DSP (Designer Series Paper) 3 3/4" x 5".

Be sure your DSP is turned the correct direction based on the direction of your card.

Attach the DSP to the 4" x 5 1/4" cardstock.

Place your DSP / cardstock piece on your cutter with the corners in the grove of your cutter.  Be sure they are lined up at both corners before you cut!

Now, attach these two pieces to the center edge of the base card.  I recommend using our Tombo Multipurpose glue so you can move your pieces a bit to get them right where they need to be.

When you attach your sentiment, be sure you only put glue or dimensionals on one side so you don't glue your card shut!  It's easier to do than you think!

Add Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" inside - stamp as desired.

Remember to decorate your envelope!
