It is flippin' hot in Phoenix and no rain in months! I decided it was time to cool down with a trip to the ocean and visit some sea turtles!
Okay, so it's paper sea turtles, but they are having fun and cool as can be.
The first card has an added panel of blue from the Whale of a Time DSP cut using the Stitched Nested Labels. The 2nd card I chose to leave off the blue.
Recipe:
Bermuda Bay - 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2"
Whisper White - 3 1/8" x 5 1/2"
Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper - 3" tall x 5 1/2" wide - this is important depending on which piece of paper you select. These two cards are from the same piece cut in half length wise. One half has seaweed and crabs and the other side just has the seaweed.
Whisper White scrap for sentiment - cut with Stitched Rectangles dies
Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" inside panel
I fussy cut some turtles with a bit of a border around each and then popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added "bubbles" and "bling" with Flowers for Every Season gems.
I just LOVE the face on this one. Adorable!

My Aunt and Uncle are celebrating their anniversary this weekend so I wanted to make something bright and beautiful for them!
I used the Blossoms in Bloom along with Many Layered Blossoms dies.
I inked the stamp with Calypso Coral and So Saffron using our sponge daubers. Before stamping them, I spritzed with a little water and then stamped onto Shimmery White Cardstock. The first one I stamped didn't have enough ink (see middle picture) so I used it to die cut the little flowers so they would have ink on them. Great use of an "oops!"

So Saffron - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Calypso Coral - 4" x 5 1/4"
Shimmery White - 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

As you can see, I really didn't fall off the face of the earth. I'm still here and going strong. Since this whole Corona Virus stuff started I've been lucky enough to be able to do my job from home. The only problem with that is this, the chair and table I use for crafting are the same chair and table I use to do my day job.
I just can't convince my backside to sit in there after my work day is done, so I just haven't been doing my crafts. That changed this weekend though since I didn't have to put in any weekend hours. So here we go!
My daughter-in-law's birthday is this week and I really wanted to do dinosaurs for her again because she does love dinosaurs, but I just can't resist the Zany Zebras! She'll get a delivery of Dino's tomorrow from Amazon Dino Delivery...
