March Paper Pumpkin - Alternate Card

It's not often that I play with alternate designs with Paper Pumpkin, but I spotted a similar card like mine below and decided to give it a try.  There were no measurements given on the one I saw, so I made my own.  See below for full instructions.

 

Pretty Peacock card base.  Fold on score line and then score the front of the card at 2 1/8" and fold forward.

Envelope Insert - trim off 2 inches and then another 2 inches (although, the 2nd trim could be 1 inch as that is what I ended up using.

Attach the 2" strip inside the card.  Attach a die cut tree set inside above the 2" strip (you'll need to trim the ground under the trim, see picture)

Attach the 1" strip outside below the 2nd score and fold.

Trim the picture from the other card base leaving 1/8" inch of the Petal Pink around the edge.

Fussy cut the clouds from one of the pre-printed strips and attach with mini dimensionals to the picture, also attach another set of trees, trimming as shown.

Stamp "Here's to you!" on white die cut piece. 

Cut Seaside Spray scrap 3/4" x 2 1/2"

Cut Calypso Coral scrap 7/8" x 2 5/8"

Add to card with dimenstionals.

Stamp sentiment inside.

 

When attaching the square to the front of the card, remember to ONLY GLUE the bottom so the card will fold and stand up.

February Paper Pumpkin Part 2

This one was so easy to do!  The colors of the flower and the leaves were already there.  All I had to do was ink up the outline of the flower and line it up with the colors.  Beautiful!

Going back to yesterday's card, I noticed today as I was looking through the envelopes that perhaps the pink lined envelope should have been with today's card and the green one (to match the leaves) should go with yesterday's card.  Actually, I think they both go with both cards.

Paper Pumpkin February 2020

I actually put together all the cards in the February Paper Pumpkin in one short evening.  I'm tickled to have them all done.  Usually I'll get them started and then get side-tracked, but I love how these look and I just got them all finished!

Here is the first of the three designs.  This card actually has a little tab that closes the card under the flower.  The colors on this one are so pretty, don't you think?

I mixed up the sentiments a bit.  The card below is how it is "designed", but of course you can always put them together how you like - be creative!

June Paper Pumpkin

Friday night during my Stack a Stash event, while the girls worked on their cards, I worked on my June Paper Pumpkin.  Oh my goodness, these little cards are so adorable!  They are a perfect small size to keep with you and hand out whenever you need them.

I wish I'd had them with me Saturday night when we went out for pizza.  There were a couple of police officers that came in for a late dinner while we were still there just visiting.  I would have loved to have given them one, just to say Thank You for keeping us safe.  Instead... and this was a better idea I think now... we ordered a Canoli for each of them!  They were way too skinny and needed something sweet!  Normally, we would have kept it completely anonymous, but we were the only other people in that part of the restaurant and I believe they knew it was us and I did want to thank them.  So we went by their table as we left and told them thank you and to please stay safe.  According to Megan, our favorite server there, they come in all the time.

It even comes with a cute little plastic like pouch to carry them around and keep them safe from damage.

My Paper Pumpkin - Shelli Style

Oh my goodness, this month's Paper Pumpkin is even prettier in person than it can ever be online.  I sure hope you signed up to receive it.  It is beautiful!

The cards are "note size" instead of standard size, so they are just perfect for sending a little note to a friend "just because".  I already have a couple of people in mind to send some of these.

Even the envelopes are beautiful and coordinate with the cards, inside and out.

I only had a chance to make up two of them so far, but I'm going to be making more, hopefully at lunch later today.

April 2019 - Paper Pumpkin

This has to be one of the prettiest Paper Pumpkin kits that I've ever seen!  I absolutely LOVE it!

Look at these gorgeous cards and all I had to stamp was some sentiments (included in the kit), the flower and the leaves of the flower.  Easy Peasy!

It even comes with a nice acrylic box that will hold all the cards and envelopes from the kit so you can gift the completed cards to a friend or family member.

The May Paper Pumpkin Kit is scheduled to be another beautiful one.  May's kit will be inspired by Shelli Gardner and from the sneak peeks I've seen, I see it being another keeper!

Just Fur You

Quick post as my computer is acting sluggish.

Today we go to the Vet for a follow up and bandage change for Nike, so I wanted to make a little something for those who help take care of him.

These are leftovers from the January Paper Pumpkin kit along with Happy Tails Bundle and Thoughtful Thanks.

I stamped the dog with Crushed Curry onto Crumb Cake, gave him a Call Me Clover collar, even though Nike wears a harness (it's still green) and filled the treat packs with Hershey Kisses and Dove Candies.

November Paper Pumpkin

I really like this month's Paper Pumpkin.  So easy to put together and beautiful too!  The envelopes are pre-lined with coordinating paper and look how nice the look with both card patterns.

Here is the 2nd version.  I really love the pine boughs for making the wreath and the perfect ribbon for making easy bows.

Paper Pumpkin - September 2018

Here is a quick look at the September 2018 Paper Pumpkin.  Isn't this great!?  I really like them and plan to make up the whole set to use this Halloween!

The sample shows jelly beans or something smaller inside the bags, but Reeses' Cups are what I had in the house, so that's what I'm using.  The colors work, so I'm happy with that! 

These were SO EASY to put together.  I didn't do much stamping on these, but I plan to use the stamps on the others.  These were made while watching t.v. and working on a flimsy t.v. tray that doesn't work very well for solid stamping, so I'll save that for my craft area.

There is even room on the back of the tag to write a little note to the recipient.

August Paper Pumpkin

Gosh, I didn't realize how long I've had this Paper Pumpkin Box waiting to be opened.  Now that it is open, I'm sorry I waited so long, look at how beautiful this paper is.

There were two card styles inside.  The one above with an open area in the middle for an easy sentiment banner and the one below with space around the outside for a smaller sentiment.
