Easy Daisies

Here is a quick and easy card that can be used for any occasion and in any color.  I chose to use Terracotta Tile from the 2019-2021 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper.  All the color families have these great 6 x 6 packs so you could really make a bunch of cards with them.

Take your 6" x 6" DSP and cut it into 4 squares 3" x 3".  This will give you 4 squares to make 4 cards.

Recipe:
Terracotta Tile - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4"
DSP - 3" x 3"

Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" - inside panel
Whisper White scraps for Daisy Punch (punch 2)
Whisper White scraps for word.
Terracotta Tile scraps for flower center - punched with 1/2" circle punch

The "friend" is die cut from the Well Written Dies.
The center of the flower is from the In-Color Faceted Dots

Just Keep Swimming, Swimming....

I spotted this idea online somewhere, and just had to give it a try.  It was a little tricky, but then I figured out a smarter way to do it the next time.

I punched the circles first and then tried to line up where to make the stamps go with a light pencil line.  That may have worked with one circle, but three was trickier!  SO, next time I'll stamp the little fishes and the walrus on smaller pieces of paper, but big enough to adhere with dimensionals.

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Subtles Designer Series Paper - 4" x 5 1/4" (Balmy Blue)
Balmy Blue - 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" - embossed with High Seas 3D Embossing Folder

Stamps: We'll Walrus Be Friends
Ink: Memento Black
Stampin' Blends: Crumb Cake Combo, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie

At first I punched a 1/2" circle for the little fish, but it was just too small, so I used a 3/4" (Retired) so if you have a 3/4", I recommend using it.  The large punch is 1 1/2".

Ready or Not

Have you seen this cute set, "We'll Walrus Be Friends"?  I see so many cute cards being made with this set and I plan on playing with it more.  Here's my first card to share with you.

Recipe:
Pool Party - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White - Die cut with Layering Rectangles (2nd from the largest)
    cut twice - one for inside panel

I colored a patch of blue with Pool Party then stamped the walrus that's covering his eyes and his two little goldfish friends with Memento Black.  I stamped them all again on a Whisper White scrap piece, colored them with my Stampin' Blends and then fussy cut them out and popped them up with dimensionals.  I also popped up the Whisper White panel onto the Pool Party base.

Inside I stamped another Walrus and sentiment.

So, ready or not... it's birthday time.

Hello Magnolia

Well the sky Tuesday night looked more stormy than Monday night, but not a bit of wind or rain in town.  Thankfully there was a big downpour up in the mountains north of Flagstaff where there is a fire moving close to homes.  I wish I could find and share the video from the news where this fire is nearly completely doused by a downpour.  God took care of that one.  It was amazing!

Oh wait, this might work:  Museum Monsoon Amazing!
