Blended Bloom - Resized

I seriously believe I'm going to wear out all of my Blendabilities as much as I love using them!!  I could sit and color all day long (remember doing that as a kid?) and be perfectly happy!  I can hardly wait for them to be available to you later in June or early July.

If you are having trouble figuring out what flower this is, don't worry, it isn't one you've seen until now.  It actually is Blended Bloom, one of the pre-order stamps I was able to purchase early as a Demonstrator.  However, when I tried putting the two of them on this card, I found they were just too big!  So I pulled out the paper snips and cut them down to a smaller flower.  Perfect!

The DSP (Designer Series Paper) used is from Lullaby and is just so pretty!  The dotted paper is the back side of the DSP used in this card HERE.  Both sides are beautiful I think.  The striped paper is also from the same pack.

Do you see the beautiful Coastal Cabana Vintage Faceted button?  I colored it with the Coastal Cabana Blendabilities alcohol marker.  I love how it adds color to the button.  They also work on our Pearls and Rhinestones.  Perfect way to coordinate all of our items even further!

Thank you for looking in today.  Don't forget, this weekend is the last one for the old Annual Catalog.  Beginning June 2nd at Noon (Mountain Time) the new catalog goes live and you may begin purchasing from it!  Yayyyy!

(or select the traditional $99 kit if you prefer - selecting $125 worth of product)

Top 5 frequently asked questions I receive from crafters just like you who are thinking of joining:

1.  Do I have to teach classes or hold workshops or other events?

No, you can decide how to participate; from simply buying Stampin' Up! products at a discount for yourself, to occasionally sharing ideas and collecting orders from friends and family, to making this a business or career to earn extra money!

2.  What benefits do I receive?

You will enjoy a 20% discount on all of your purchases, access to the Stampin' UP! Demo website and a bi-monthly magazine, be the first to see and order from each new catalog, and so much more!

3.  Can I be my own Hostess?

Yes, Stampin' UP! is very generous with benefits, and you will earn hostess benefits on all of your orders over $150.   You even get an extra discount for a total of 30% off your first order of $150 or more placed within your first 45 days!
4.  How much do I need to sell, and what happens if I don't?

Each calendar quarter, Stampin' Up! requires that you submit $300 in product orders.  This can be your own orders, orders from friends and family, or orders you collect if you hold a class or other event.  If you do not meet this requirement, you are given 1 extra month as a grace period, and then you would be dropped with no penalty if you do not meet that.

5.  When would my $300 need to be submitted?

You have a "free" quarter when you sign up so if you join now, you will need to place $300 in orders by Sept. 30, 2014.  Awesome!!!

Just Sayin'

Here is another cute paper from the Lullaby Designer Series Paper.  Sweet little hearts in Baked Brown Sugar on Crisp Cantaloupe.

Notice how the "love ya" word bubble is punched into to front of the card and then when you open the card, it is actually on the inside of the card.

The card begins with Baked Brown Sugar card stock, then a layer of Whisper White and finally a layer of DSP.  Decide where you want the word bubble to be and remember to open your card so you only cut through the front of the card (and it's layers).

If you want a ribbon to go around the top two layers, be sure to cut first by using just a dab of adhesive to hold the layers in place while using the Big Shot and Word Bubbles Framelits.  Then you can take it apart, wrap the ribbon around and then put your layers back together with full adhesive.

Stamp and cut out  your Just Sayin' words on Whisper White (or whichever color choice you want), cut it out with the framelits and place it inside the pre-cut cover.

While this stamp set, Just Sayin' and the Word Bubbles Framelits Dies will be carrying over into the new Annual Catalog, they will not be available as a bundle!  SO, if you don't have this set yet and you wish to save 15%, be sure to order it before June 1, 2014.

Blessed Thank You

I opened up my pre-ordered package of Lullaby Designer Series Paper.  Don't let the name of this fool you.  It sounds like it should go with baby greetings and such, but it really can be used for anything you like.  Beautiful subtle colors and designs.  You won't be disappointed when you order it beginning June 2nd.

Still loving the Easter Blessings tulips, especially coloring them with the Blendabilities.  It may be a retiring set, but I guarantee, I'll be hanging on to those tulips.  Too pretty to retire from my personal collection!  You only have a few days left to snag this stamp.  Hopefully it will still be available.  Things have sold out pretty quickly.

The "Thank You" stamp comes from the Four You stamp set.  One of my favorite font's for the lettering.

Celebrate Dad!

Is this cute or what?  I was looking at my embossing folders and thought the Decorative Dots might make a great golf ball.  I think I was right, what do you think?

I embossed some Whisper White card stock with the Decorative Dots embossing folder (carrying over from Sale-a-Bration! and available June 2nd) and then punched it out with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch and then turned it over so the bumped side is down, like a golf ball would look.  The grass is Gumball Green - I'm sure going to be sad when I run out of that beautiful bright green card stock! - and then using my Fringe Scissors (also carrying over - from the Occasions Mini - available June 2nd) to make the grass.

The flag is punched using Petite Pennants Builder and the golf tee is also from the Pennants Builder Punch and then I just used my snips to shape the pennant into a tee shape.

My Dad would have LOVED this card.  He loved to golf when he had the time and was even patient enough to play a round with me when I took golf as a mini-course during college.  I was terrible, but it was fun anyway, just being with my Dad!

The stamp set is retiring, so don't wait, there's only a few days left, if it is still available!  The Decorative Dots and the Fringe Scissors will be available June 2nd.

Thank you for looking in today.  Enjoy your day and remember to Thank a Soldier!
