This year's In-Colors still make me so happy. I just love the soft and beautiful colors. Today's main color is Peekabo Peach with a hint of Flirty Flamingo. So pretty together!
Recipe: Whisper White Thick cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4" Peekaboo Peach - 5 1/4" x 4" Whisper White - 5" x 3 3/4" Use corner rounder on the right hand side top and bottom. Stamps: Swirly Bird, Cottage Greeting Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Ink: Peekabo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, Pear Pizzazz

These stamps are just so much fun! Check out this one I made this weekend. I started with Flirty Flamingo for the base and stamped the flowers in Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo.
I especially like the Gold Foil Mat. Remember to get the most out of your paper by using the part of the mat that isn't visible for something else. See the bottom of this post for what I did for this one.
Recipe: Base: Flirty Flamingo - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4" Mat: Gold Foil - 5 1/4" x 4" Whisper White - 5" x 3 3/4" Inside: Whisper White 5" x 3 3/4" Stamps: Swirly Bird, Cottage Greetings Ink: Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy Stampin' Write Marker - Sweet Sugarplum To make the two shades of flowers, I stamped once, then again without re-inking for the lighter shade.
Here is the leftovers from the mat. You can see I simply cut a large rectangle with my paper trimmer to make a "frame" which turns into the mat. Now I have a good sized piece left over for making something else or for die-cutting.

My apologies for being MIA the last couple of days. My mojo was on vacation and I just couldn't pull anything together after the crazy work week we've had at the office! For those of you have been reading my blog for a while, you know I work for the county election's office. When it is election time, we work long hours and I'm lucky to make it to my pillow before crashing. Next week is Arizona's Presidential Preference Election so no promises on regular postings! :) And now on to the fun part! Last weekend was our March workshop, so here are the little thank you's that I'll be putting into the girls bags. Clean and simple.
