Thank you for looking in today.  I may not post anything Saturday or Sunday as I'll be staying at a hotel with a bunch of Stampin' Up! friends for a retreat.  However, there will be a lot of things to post after that, so stay tuned!  (If my laptop cooperates and I'm not stamping all night, I'll try to post a little something).

Thank You Puzzlers

Finally I can post these!  I had them made last week, but with long hours I didn't get them mailed until a couple of days ago.  Now they should be in the hands of the recipients, so I can share.

These were fun to make.  To see how I made a bigger version, click HERE.

Imagine the possibilities, the color combinations and all the fun you can have with these puzzle pieces.

Thank  you for looking in today!  It's finally Friday!

The Secret Behind the Thank You Panda

So, let's go back to the little thank you notes I teased you with on Thursday.  Linda, if you're reading this, stop and wait until you receive yours at lunch on Monday!  (ha ha)

Since we made spinning birthday cards at Mary's workshop, I wanted to incorporate that idea into their thank you notes, so here's what I did.

Real Red is cut at 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
Die Cut Circle from Seasonal Layers (blurry picture below)

Place a mini-dimensional onto a #6 washer and place it under the red square through the circle.

Place another #6 washer on this side of the mini dimensional.

I used a 3/4" circle left over from the workshop project.  Mostly to make centering the large circle on the washer a bit easier.  Add a couple of mini-glue dots to the washer.

To make sure the Panda would spin easily, I added for small pieces of foam adhesive strips.

The Gold Faceted Gem is used to actually spin the bear - since it wasn't rolling back and forth, it needed a bit of a "handle".

Party Panda Thanks

Perfect name for this stamp set for today's card.  These are my thank you notes to those at last weeks' Stampin' Up! (workshop) Party!

I can't give you a lot of details because this card has a bit of a surprise and if any of the recipients see this, I don't want to give away the surprise.  I promise though full details in a few days.

How do you like the cute "back of the card stamp" I got from Vippies?  Vippies is the company from where I ordered my little calendars.  I love it!

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Thursday!

Lavender Thanks

Last Saturday's workshop orders arrived at my house last night, so that means it's time for thank you notes to my customers!

I loved the Lavender so much, I wanted to do it again AND show you a little tip I didn't take the time to take a picture of before.  Be sure to check out the tip at the bottom of this post.

Recipe:
Whisper White Cardstock - 6" x 3", scored and folded at 6"
Wisteria Wonder - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
Whisper White - 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

I stamped the outline with Memento Black, stamped off once gently and the flowers with Wisteria Wonder, also stamped off once.  For more information, check out yesterday's post HERE.

This time I stamped the outline a bit lower so to include the bit of a bow that is on the stamp and then stamped it with Sweet Sugarplum.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes also using Sweet Sugarplum.

Now... for the tip.  The leaves stamps are not attached to each other, so to avoid stamping each one separately, I placed them on the image exactly where I wanted them to be.

Then lay the block over them and gently press to attach to the block.  Then when you go to stamp, simply ink, line up and stamp a perfect stamp each time.  This is also how the Stamparatus works, so it will be good practice for you!  :)

Thank you for looking in today.  Click on any of the pictures below if you wish to place an order.  REMEMBER - you can earn a FREE Sale-a-bration item with each $50.00 purchase.  That SAME $50.00 purchase will also get you a free gift from me.  Simply use hostess code:  DKRB49KQ.  More details HERE.

Tonight I'll be helping my upline set up for our Team Regional Event, so I may not get a chance to post for Saturday, but come and see anyway... just in case!

Happy Friday!

Santa Thinks You're the Best

I always like to share my little 3 x 3 thank you cards I make for my monthly workshops.  Even though we didn't have an official workshop in November since we just gathered together to make our own Christmas Cards, there were still some shoppers.  Thank you ladies!  You know who you are.

So here's the cute little card I made.  Since we were making Christmas Cards, I figured Santa was the perfect character for the card fronts.

Recipe -
Real Red - 6" x 3", scored and folded at 3"
Whisper White - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" (times two)

Stamps:  Santa's Suit
Ink:  Memento Black and Real Red
Pen:  Ivory Stampin' Blend

Here you can see where I colored Santa's head, hands and feet with the Ivory Stampin' Blends.

Thank you for looking in today.  Be sure to check out this great little stamp set.  It is just so much fun!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve... it's Pie Making Day!

Workshop Thank You

My apologies for missing a couple of days lately.  It's been hectic around the house this week and some nights I just didn't have it in me!  However, the weekend is here (after today ends) and that's always a good thing!

Here are the little 3" x 3" thank you's I made for the girls from last week's workshop.  I always like to have the thank you's reflect something we made or a technique.    This was one of our cards from the workshop.  If you missed it when posted, you can see it HERE.

I just love these little dogs.  Always getting into something, or so it seems.  Cute as can be though!

Recipe:
Whisper White - 6" x 3", scored and folded at 3"
Garden Green - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"
Whisper White - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

The table is stamped onto Chocolate Chip with Early Espresso ink and then cut out with the matching dies - Christmas Staircase Thinlits, that go with this set - Ready for Christmas.  I sure hope this is one of the sets that carries over next May.  There's just so much in here to use, it would be a shame to lose it after just one season.

I colored the dogs and the picture frame on the wall with Stampin' Write Markers.

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Friday!!  Happy Weekend!
