Brusho Baby, Brusho

If you like individuality, then Brusho Crystal Colour is for you!  These were so simple to make and every one is different.  You will never have two cards that look the same.

Recipe:
Whisper White - 6" x 3", scored and folded at 3"
Whisper White Thick - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Stamp image with VersaMark then add White Embossing Powder.  Heat set with Heat Tool until the powder is shiny.

Spritz a bit of water onto the image and then sprinkle with Brusho color of choice.  If the colors don't spread as much as you want, spritz with a little more water.  Dab any extra water up with a folded tissue or paper towel.  I used my heat tool again to dry them so I could finish them off.  You could also just let them set over night.

To straighten them out a bit more - as they were still curled - I used my bone folder and very gently curled them (uncurled) them.

Instead of dimensionals - because of the curling - I used Foam Adhesive Strips.  They worked wonderfully.

Thank you for looking in today.  It's Finally Friday!

Have a great weekend!

Beautiful Day with Brusho

I am really enjoying playing with the new Brusho Crystals.  Easy to use and so many different looks with each card.

For this card, I stamped the flower from Beautiful Day onto Shimmery White with VersaMark and then sprinkled with Gold Emboss Powder and set with my Heat Gun.

To color the flower, I sprinkled very gently some of the Yellow Brusho onto a clear block and then using my Aqua Brush I added just a bit of water and then colored the flower in.

Recipe:
Daffodil Delight - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 41/4"
Basic Black - 4" x 4"
Tutti-Frutti Designer Series Paper - 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Whisper White Strip - 4" x 1" (or close)
Basic Black 4" (plus) x 1" (plus) When it's close like this I usually stamp and trim the white and then lay it on a piece of black and cut it close with snips or trimmer.

Thank you for looking in today.  Have a Happy Tuesday!!

Happy Anniversary to a Special Pair

This card is for a special pair of people who celebrate their anniversary on the same day hubby and I celebrate ours.  Hopefully it has arrived in her mailbox (snail - mail - box) before she sees it on here.

To make the background I sprinkled yellow and orange Brusho very lightly onto the watercolor paper.  Then I spritzed it gently with one of our Spritzers and water.  I blotted the excess off with a tissue (kleenex) and then, because I didn't want to wait overnight, I used our Heat Tool to dry and flatten out (sort of) the watercolor paper.

Recipe:
Daffodil Delight - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Bermuda Bay - 5" x 3 3/4"
Watercolor Paper - 4 7/8" x 3 5/8"

Stamps - Dragonfly Dreams (outside) and Number of Years (inside)
Framelits - Seasonal Layers

Inside I added some of our new sequins that are already backed with adhesive!  How awesome is that!  They are in the Occasions catalog on page 29 - Tutti-frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

Thank you for looking in today.  It's Friday Eve!  Yay!
