Penned and Painted for any Occasion

This set is so much fun to use and it doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.  Penned and Painted is (sadly) one of the sets that will be retiring.  There are others that are similar I suppose, but this one is one of my favorites!

Recipe:

Sweet Sugarplum - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Rich Razzleberry - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"

I stamped the outline of the flowers with Rich Razzleberry and the leaves with Old Olive.  Then the insides of the flowers with Sweet Sugarplum and highlights with Rich Razzleberry, stamped off once.  Inside the leaves is Wild Wasabi and then Old Olive for the highlights, stamped off once.

In the corner, I decided to put a banner across the corner and did so two different ways.  I saw this online somewhere and can't remember who it was, so if you know who it is, please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due.

The "thank you" card above, I trimmed the banner to just be across the Whisper White.  The "I miss you" card below, I wrapped it around the corner to the back.  I think I like the top one best.  Which one do you like best?

Thank you for looking in today.  I hope you have a Blessed Sunday!

New Catalogs Arriving Soon...

Just a few more days until I can pre-order from the New Annual Catalog for 2017-2018.  I can hardly wait to get my hands on them!  There's nothing like a new catalog.

I love "The Big Bang Theory" and if you follow it, you may remember this scene from the comic book store when Sheldon smells a new box of comic books being opened.  This is exactly the feeling I get with new catalogs!  (if you are reading this in an email, you'll need to go to my blog to see the YouTube video attached here:

If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I'd love to hear from you so I can order a new catalog for you. Catalogs begin mailing and/or being hand delivered in Mid-May and go live on June 1st.

If you ordered at least $50 from me between January 1st and April 25th, 2017 I would love to send you a FREE Copy of the new upcoming catalog! All of my regular customers will receive their catalogs as soon as I receive them

If you are not currently a customer, but would like to receive a catalog from me, please email me at StampsWellWithOthers@gmail.com. If you already have a Demonstrator, please check with them on receiving a catalog. When you write, I will write back to you. If you don't hear back from me, then please contact me through this post as your mail might have gone to junk mail, and we can't have that happen!!

Get Ready ... it's almost time!

Daisy Delight - Sneak Peek

This is the cute card we made at our Team Meeting on Monday.  Thank you Becca for making this available for us to use!

The stamp set is called Daisy Delight.  Wait until you see the Designer Series Paper.  So cute!  But then, I like Daisies, so of course I will like them!

This will be a short post as  this girl needs to get to bed (I write this the night before - for posting at midnight).  Spent the day moving boxes at the office and cleaning and tossing a LOT of old stuff that needs to be gone.  These old bones are tired!

Pre-order begins May 2nd for Demonstrators.  I can hardly wait to get my first order started with the new catalog.  Sign up with me as a Demonstrator (even just as a Hobbyist) and YOU can order early too!  So FUN!

Thanks for looking in today!

Bye, Bye Grunge...

Today we have a quick and easy masculine "Congratulations" card and of course I always go to my favorite Guy Grunge stamp set - Gorgeous Grunge.  I'm so sad to see this stamp set go away.  The splatters and splotches are just the right thing for those manly cards we all need.

Recipe:
Night of Navy - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White - 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" - spotted with Night of Navy ink
Night of Navy - 3" x 2"
Whisper White 2 7/8" x 1 7/8"

"Congrats" is from Tin of Cards (retiring)
"to you" is from Crazy About You (retiring)

Inside I added a little more splatter in the corners before writing on the card which will be going to my new boss at the office.

He was just appointed as Deputy Recorder and I am going to be his Executive Assistant.  Over the last 4 months I've had several people I've reported to, including the new County Recorder for a couple of weeks.  I think this week we've all settled in to where we are going to be and I'm pleased with where I'm ending up.  PLUS, I get to move back to my old workstation that I've been in for 26 years (minus the last 4 months).  I can hardly wait to settle in again!

Thank you for looking in today!  We're almost at the weekend!

Inside the Box

My apologies for not posting this yesterday as I had planned, but time after our Team Meeting simply got away from me!  If you missed the post leading up to this one, click HERE.

When a new person joins my team, they are welcomed with a simple charm bracelet and a beginning charm.  This was started when our titles were Associate, Sr. Associate, etc. and anniversary charms from there.  (Marie, I need to make sure we have you current!)  Now, we have Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.  Everyone starts as a Bronze and then with sales and recruits it goes up from there.

Marie made SILVER! So to her charm collection she earns a Silver Star with a jewel.  I'm so proud of Marie as she's had several recruits and they are growing.

Next will be Silver Elite, we're both working towards that goal!

Thank you for looking in today.  Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Congratulations Well Deserved

On Sunday I ended up CASEing myself.  Now that's something that probably doesn't happen often.  LOL  It's been very windy here and I woke up with a headache, so thinking wasn't working well and I knew I wanted to do a card with Floral Boutique and and a little box with the Window Box Thinlits Dies.  I'm so happy this little box is carrying over to the Annual Catalog.  If you like it and the stamps it goes with, the bundle is NOT carrying over, so be sure to order it before May 31st so you can save 10% on it.

Today's card is for a special accomplishment of someone I know.  However, since they peek into my blog, I don't want to reveal too much today... so come back tomorrow for a full reveal!

For today though, I can give you the Recipe:

Night of Navy - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper white 5 1/4" x 4"
Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper - 5" x 3 3/4"

I stamped from Beautiful You onto another sheet of Floral Boutique DSP and then fussy cut the dress hair and hat and then pieced it onto the same image stamped with Memento Black onto Whisper White.  Then I used the largest circle from Stitched Shapes and the largest scallop from Layering Circles in Night of Navy.

This is another stamp set that is carrying over to the next Annual Catalog (which I will be able to order from on May 1st!  You could too if you sign up to be a Demonstrator.).  The "Congratulations" comes from Floral Phrases.

Here is the box from the top view. I added Silver Foil inside each of the cut-outs to keep the inside a little more of a surprise.  Since taking the picture below, I've added a piece of ribbon to hold the box closed since it has to make it all the way through the day tomorrow.

If you've ever used liquid glue to attach the Silver Foil, you probably know that it has a tendency to make a mess on the foil, should any of it ooze out.  So I decided to avoid that and I used scotch tape to attach the foil. I wanted it to stay permanently, but just didn't want the mess of glue.

Do you see a little boo-boo I made and fixed?  Let me know by posting below if you figure it out.  I'll share it tomorrow with you!

Thank you for looking in today.  Here's to another week of fun and adventure!

Happy Monday!

Brittney's Workshop Alternatives

It's always fun to see my stampers alter their cards from the sample.  Mary used the great little banner that comes with this set for her "nailed it" sentiment instead of the little rectangle that I used (see the picture below Mary's)

Mine:

Brittney went with a different tool and sentiment as well as color.  I'm so sad to see this set and framelits go away.  There are just SO many uses for it.  I think I'll be keeping it in my collection, at least for a while!

Here we have Brittney's version of our Fiesta card with added dimension by cutting out the Sombrero and hanging it off the FIESTA.

Then below she cut out a Pinata and Guitar and popped them up with Dimensionals on the Designer Series Paper.

Thanks Ladies for coming over today and stamping.  I missed getting a picture of Kathy's projects and Alyssa's, but I know they were awesome too.

Thank you all for looking in today!

Have a Blessed Sunday!
