For A Friend (and some important dates)

Before you see today's card... a little business news.

Now that Sale-a-Bration is over, the next big thing will be the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.

Here are some dates that you should be aware of.

On April 10, 2017 -  at 1 p.m. MT, Demonstrators will be able to see the 2017-2018 catalog online.  This will be for DEMONSTRATORS ONLY
April 10, 2017 - 1 p.m. MT, we will all be able to see the RETIRING LISTS.  Watch my blog (here) for that list as soon as I can get my hands on it.
Also April 10 - May 31, 2017 -  Retiring products are available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST, so don't delay!
I recommend you get a headstart on that now if there are any retiring In-Color inks, papers, refills, etc. that you want.  These items go away very quickly.  Use HOSTESS CODE B34YFCXE between now and April 21st.
May 31, 2017 - the last day to order from the 2016-2017 Annual catalog and the 2017 Occasions catalog - for items still in stock.
June 1, 2017 -  the first day for customers to order from the NEW 2017-2018 catalog.
Will YOU be receiving a new catalog?
About mid-May 2017, I will be mailing or delivering a new Stampin' UP! catalog to anyone on my customer list who has made a $50 or more purchase between May 2016 and May 2017.   PLEASE, if you are one of my regular customers, log in to your online account and verify that your mailing address is correct so that you will receive your new catalog as quickly as possible.
Did you notice the Demonstrator Perks!
AS a Demonstrator, I have early access to the newest catalogs as well as the Holiday Mini and the Occasions Mini.  Every year it is just as exciting as the very first new catalog release.  My first one was June 2010.  I still get that thrill when it is time for the newest catalog!
Would you like to share in that fun and excitement?  If so, all you need to do is sign up as a Demonstrator and be on my Stamps Well With Others Team.  You don't have to do workshops or sell products to your friends, you can simply enjoy all the perks and benefits of being a Hobbyist.  That's what so many people do, or at least it is where they start!
Please read more details HERE, and click the link below the information to join us!
and now... on to today's card.

A friend and fellow stamper is going through some health issues right now so I wanted to make her a pretty card to let her know I'm thinking of her.

Even though this paper went away with Sale-a-Bration, you'll still see me using it.  Besides, you may have some you haven't used yet and will want inspiration!  Right?

The DSP is 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" and the Calypso Coral (or possibly Watermelon Wonder - both were out from previous projects) is 5 1/2" x 2 3/4"

The sentiment is placed on the 1 5/8" square Stitched Shapes Square.  I then cut a piece of colored card stock at 1 7/8" square.

The stamp set is from Sending Thoughts - don't forget the inside.  I love it when there is a saying that will work inside and out.

Isn't this pretty?  I just love coloring with our new watercolor pencils.  My fingers are crossed that there will be more coming up in the next catalog for 2017-2018.  We need MORE!

Thank you for looking in today.  Here we go with another Monday!

  1. Very pretty. I didn't get any of this paper to play with. But that is o.k. Maybe I should go look at some of the color books for adults and might fine something similar in size to make cards with. Your friend will love this card. Your coloring is great. I love the slivers of the watermelon with the flower panel - it really makes it pop. Well done my friend. Hoe your friend is doing better.
