Berry Beautiful and Free

Less than a week left to get this great stamp set and beautiful designer series paper.  This is a double, so instead of spending $50.00 for this Sale-a-bration freebie, you need to spend $100.00 (before shipping and tax) but believe me, the paper is worth it and stamps are a great addition to your collection!

I made this one for our friends' upcoming anniversary.

Recipe:

Basic White Thick cardstock - 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2"

Pacific Point - 4" x 5 1/4"

Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper - 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon

Rhinestone Basics - colored with Light Night of Navy (it was the only blue I had)

Remember to decorate your envelope!

Soon it will be time for color changes and retirement, so if you find any of your stamp pads needing a little extra love (refill), be sure to order those refills now.  There is always a run on them at the end of the year, so you won't want to miss out!  You can see here it was time for re-inking my Pacific Point.  The lower left was before re-inking and the upper was after.  So much nicer after a freshen up!

Approaching Perfect Background

Do you realize that Sale-a-bration will be over at the end of February?  That is next Sunday, so less than a week away!  One of the best sets is the Approaching Perfect set.  So many uses for it and you can even make a great background with some of the stamps placed together on one block!

At first I attempted to stamp on the individual 4" x 5 1/4" pieces but found the edges had a tendency to be missed, so I decided to stamp a full size 8 1/2" x 11" and then cut it down.  Perfect!

Then I placed them onto my base of Gorgeous Grape and added the ribbon in a variety of ways.

Inside I decorated with the cute little balloon stamp.

Don't miss out on your chance to receive free stamps during Sale-a-Bration!  If you are reading this on my blog, you can see all the catalogs in the right hand column.  Check them out there and find your favorite freebies!

Use Hostess Code for February - XYZ9942H and spend at least $50.00 (before shipping and tax) and receive a gift of Opal Rounds from me!

Thank you for looking in today!  It's another Monday...

Thirty Five!

When you have your children four years apart, you get to celebrate milestone birthdays every five years such as the fives and nines.  I know, the zero's are important, but the 35th and the 39th (just before turning over to 40) are milestones in my book.  We also had 8th grade graduation and high school graduations in the same year!  That was interesting!  Thankfully, not on the same night!

So, my "baby" is turning 35 next week and recently moved to Washington State so I thought the trees from "Snow Front" would be a perfect card for him.  He even had snow last week, but I didn't add snow to his card.

Recipe:
Basic White Thick Cardstock - 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2"
Mossy Meadow - 4" x 5 1/4"
Basic White - 3 3/4" x  5"
Basic White - Largest oval from Stitched Shapes Dies

Stamps:  Snow Front, Approaching Perfection
Inks:  Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Pool Party

I inked the trees with Mossy Meadow and stamped with full ink and then again before re-inking so there was a softer look.  The ground was sponged on with Crumb Cake and the Sky was sponged with Pool Party.  The deer were stamped with Soft Suede.

Thank you for looking in today!  Have a great Sunday.
