Election Week Is Almost Over

This has been a long busy week, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel, and so far, it doesn't sound or look like a train, so I think we may just make it!

We should have the totals all wrapped up and counted this weekend, with any luck it will be on Saturday and we'll get Sunday off.... until then... I'm anxiously awaiting some more Stampin' Time!

Hope you've had a chance to be creative.

Hugs,
Donna

August Team Meeting Swap

Tomorrow is our team meeting for August and this month's theme is Fall / Halloween.  I saw several varieties of this cute mummy on Splitcoast and just had to play with making some.  Aren't they great!?

Here are the cards I made for the swap.  The cardstock is Cajun Craze and the DSP is Wicked Fun from the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog.  I only had enough of the striped design to make 6 cards and I needed 7, so one is a little different, but I'll just plan on keeping that one.

Thank you for looking!

Hugs, Donna

Baby Ryder James

My dear friend from high school became a GRANDMA last week.  I'm so happy for her and can't wait to get over there to see her little Prince.

May I introduce... Ryder James - born August 5, 2010 - 8 pounds 1 ounce.  Proud Parents Jessica and Jonathan.  Proud Aunt Rachel and Really Proud Grandma Vicki!

Congratulations my friends!

Welcome Ryder... you will be loved and cherished, not to mention spoiled by all the people that love you!

On A Pedestal

I really like how this turned out.  This was made with "On A Pedestal" stamp set, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Whisper White cardstock and Island Oasis Designer Paper (only available through the end of August, so hurry and order some before it's too late!).  I used Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie ink for stamping and Daffodil Delight for the candles.  The ribbon is 1/8" Pumpkin Pie taffeta.

Thanks for peeking in.  Have a great week!

Happy Birthday Jean!

This is for a co-worker of mine who loves her coffee... LOL.  The coffee bean bag was a project I learned from my upline leader Rebecca.  It was so much fun to make at her house, that I had to make one tonight for Jean.  I added a coffee cup to this one using my Cricut.  Inside is a Starbucks Card (of course!).

The card is made using paint samples from the hardware store.  Stamping with Whisper White and using a clear emboss powder.  I think she'll really like it.

Thanks for looking!
