This sweet little bear has been jumping up and down on the stamp shelf saying "pick me, pick me!", so I did! I'm going to have to do it again though because this little bear got too much tan. I wanted him to be a bit lighter. Guess I haven't used my Blends for a while. Need to practice!
Recipe:
Soft Suede - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Crushed Curry - 5 1/4" x 4"
Very Vanilla - 5" x 3 3/4"
Very Vanilla and Soft Suede to make Ovals from Layering Ovals. I really wanted to use my Stitched Shapes and Layering Circles, but they are packed and ready to go for our workshop.
Stamps: A Little Wild
Ink: Memento Black, Garden Green
Stampin' Blends: Crumb Cake Light and Dark, Daffodil Delight Dark

Monday night was our Team Meeting and that means time to swap cards with the others on the team. I'll be sharing others as time goes on, but for today, here is the one I did. I love it!
Too bad you can't see the glimmer better on this beehive. I added the clear Wink of Stella to the darker yellow side of the beehive. It looks so much better in person, even looks good on a cell phone picture.
Recipe:

Early Espresso - die cut with Layering Circles Scallop
Very Vanilla - die cut with Layering Circles
Watercolor Paper - for Beehive and Bear, as well as the bee ON the bear.
Stamps: A Little Wild and Colorful Seasons (branch)
Ink: Archival Black and Soft Suede and Crushed Curry.

Is this just the cutest little gift or what?? I simply love this bear and his teeny tiny little bear friends. this was another project we made last weekend at our team meeting and I just love it!
- Recipe:
- Crushed Curry - 2 1/2" x 2" - dry emboss with the Hexagons Embossing Folder
- Punch the 2" side with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch
- Round the bottom corners using the Envelope Punch Board (or any corner rounder you have)
- Stamp the Bear, Bees and Beehive onto Watercolor Paper using the Archival Basic Black
- Color the Bear with your Aqua Painter using a light shade of Soft Suede. LET IT DRY
- When dry, add another layer of Soft Suede, aiming towards the right side of the bear (where there would be shadows - keep in mind from which way your "light source" is coming.
- Color the Bees with a Crushed Curry Marker
- Color the Beehive with Crushed Curry in layers like you did the Bear. The third layer should be Soft Suede.
- Add the bees to the Bear
- Add the beehive to the Honeycomb
- Add the Bear on top.
Place three Bit-O-Honey candies into the Cello Bag and tie it up with the Crushed Curry solid Baker's Twine. Remember to string it through the tag and tie it off.
