Sprinkles of Life - RMHC

I thought I'd share something with you from a post about a year ago.  This set Sprinkles of Life, is currently the Ronald McDonald House Charities set that you can find on the back cover of the current Annual Catalog.  $3.00 from each purchase of this set goes directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

When I first posted about it, I mentioned that I thought it was the best RMHC set I'd seen.  Well guess what?  I was apparently right because this set is going to carry over to the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog.  HOWEVER, it is carrying over as a regular set, no donation (there will be a new one for RMHC).  So, I thought I'd bring back this card to share so you might order it now while it can still earn a donation.

To see the original post - go HERE.

Won't you take a moment and order this for Ronald's kids?

Too Hot For Ice Cream? Never!

Saturday's workshop at Kristi's house was so much fun and as usual, my stampers love putting their own twist on their cards.

My Version - simple:

Their Version - change the words (so easy to do with alpha stamps!):

And a little more topsy-turvy.  After all, if you drop your ice cream cones, they aren't going to land all the same, right?  :)

The girls from left to right around the table:  Linda, Mary F., Brittney, Tina, Kristi (today's hostess), Mary P. and Berta.  Thank you ladies for coming to stamp!

Here is our 2nd card.  This one was made by Berta.  I wish you could see it better, but her butterfly wings are bent up a bit, then down, then up with a little flair.  Very pretty!

Then, we have Linda.  She doesn't like Pink  Pirouette.... it's okay, we'll keep her, I just have to remember to have an alternate color for her!  (She calls it Pitiful Pink - but don't tell anyone!)

She chose to do hers with Mint Macaron and I wish I'd managed to get a picture of the final completed card, but it did look pretty good in Mint!

I thought Linda's dots under her butterfly looked a bit like a Cheetah, what do you think?

Thank you for looking in today.  May you have a Blessed Sunday.  If you are lucky enough to have your Father still with you, enjoy him and cherish him.  I'd give anything to talk to mine today!

The Teaser Revealed

As promised here is the complete card I teased with yesterday.  My friend Mary F. found the idea on Pinterest and shared it with me.  It was done by Wendy Cranford and she CASEd it from Cybil Hart.  I changed it up and used "oops!" for the front of my card, using Epic Alphabet.  Thank you ladies for your great ideas!

With our 110 to 115 degree temperatures in Phoenix for the last few days - and for the next few days apparently, I thought ice cream would be perfect for our workshop today!

Another cute sentiment for inside, also from the You've Got This set and it says "Good Things are Going to Happen".  I think that's cute because, even though the ice cream dropped, you get a better triple decker ice cream inside!

Recipe:

Watermelon Wonder base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Very Vanilla 5 1/4" x 4"

Cardstock AND Ink:
Sahara Sand - Stamp and cut out 4 ice cream cones
Watermelon Wonder - Stamp and punch 2 scoops
Mint Macaron - Stamp and punch 2 scoops
Chocolate Chip - Stamp and punch 2 scoops

Stamp large splatter from Gorgeous Grunge in Watermelon Wonder, Chocolate Chip and Mint Macaron.  Also stamp your color of choice inside for under the sentiment by stamping off once.

Assemble cones and ice cream as shown.

To stamp the "oops!" since there is only one "o" in the set, I placed the "o" on a small clear block and stamped it twice, then on another clear block - I used H - I placed the "ps!

Thank you for looking in today.  If you're interested in ordering any of these items, click on the link to the scrolling store below.

A Teaser for You

Today, I'm just going to tease you with a sneak peek at one of the cards I'm planning for this weekend.  It think it is adorable and I think you will think so too!

Ok, so I'll share the inside too, but no more!  You'll have to wait for the outside.  Come back tomorrow and I'll post the rest of it.

Looking forward to Saturday's workshop.  Love getting together with the girls and this weekend it will be at Kristi's house instead of mine!  Woo Hooo, I get out for a change, although, I have to work harder to remember everything.  Fingers crossed!

Thank you for looking in today.  Happy Friday!

Sprinkled With Life Spoiling

On Saturday I had a morning of spoiling with four other members of the weSTAMP Team at our upline Lorri Heiling's house.  We had a wonderful brunch with gifts and projects - that we didn't have to prep for - Yayyy!  As Demonstrator's we're always preparing for our customers, but this time Lorri prepared for us and we we spoiled and pampered!  It was so great!

Thank You Lorri!

Here is one of the cards we made today - isn't it just adorable!?

And So Simple!

Tip Top Taupe base 11" x 4 1/4" - scored at 5 1/2"
Cone - Tip Top Taupe and fussy cut out - so easy to do though.
Ice Cream Scoops - Mint Macaron, So Saffron and Blushing Bride

Splatter some Gorgeous Grunge matching ink and it's done.

Add a sentiment outside and inside and you have a perfect birthday card.

Thank you for looking in today.  Come back tomorrow for more!

Thank You For Your Service

Ok, so this is a little late for Memorial Day, but I couldn't post it earlier... it was for my swap at our Team Meeting on Tuesday night.  Now that we've met and voted on the favorite swap, I can share.

Guess what?  I won!  I was so excited!

This cute card was made with Sprinkles of Life - which is a special set because $3.00 from each set goes to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  I love this set!

I stamped the cone with VersaMark and then sprinkled it with Clear Embossing Powder onto Chocolate Chip card stock.  I fussy cut the cone out, but it was very easy to cut, so give it a try!

The "ice cream" was also stamped with VersaMark but I used Whisper White Embossing Powder on the Night of Navy card stock and the Real Red card stock.  Onto the Whisper White I used Silver Embossing Powder.

It would have been nice to have had the Lucky Stars embossing folder, but that's on my wish list!  Next time, maybe in time for 4th of July!

The "thank you" is from Sassy Salutations and punched with the Note Tag punch.  I added "stitches" with my Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker.

Thank YOU for looking in today.

Be sure to read this on my blog (in case you receive it in an email) so you can see the products used for this card.

Gift Bag Punch Board with Sprinkles

Here's a quick sneak peek at the new Gift Bag Punch Board and what it can make.  I'm going to really enjoy this, once I work up some stronger muscles.  Actually, it's not that hard to do, but I do recommend standing as you punch - much like using our other punch boards.  They do need some leverage behind them.

Mix with your favorite stamps and you can make a gift bag for any occasion!

I just love this cute stamp from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.  I love the whole set because a portion of each sale of this set goes to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Isn't this a great sentiment to add some fun to any card?

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend.  I plan to enjoy it, especially with the holiday (Monday) falling on my birthday!!  Wooo hooo!  Love it when I get the day off for my birthday.

Stay safe and have a piece of cake (or in this case, a cup cake) to celebrate!

Thank you for looking in!

Sprinkles of Life Birthdays

So sorry I went missing the last couple of days.  I just had no crafting mojo in me!  I did get some organizing done though marking my retiring stamps, ribbons, dies and folders. What an undertaking!

Next is working through the DSP's.  That will be huge because I cut them into 6" x 6" squares easy to package up for quick cards or my BOGO sale.

So, today I got out my pre-order papers, stamps and punch and made some cute birthday cards.  I just love the Cherry On Top DSP stack that will be available to you all on June 2nd.  Sooner if you sign up as a Demonstrator - then you can order from the Demo-Only pre-order too!  I'd love to have you on my team.

This first card base is Watermelon Wonder (it looks so much prettier in real life).  DSP is 2" x 5 1/2" and Bermuda Bay is 2 3/8" x 5 1/2"

I stamped the cupcake base onto Delightful Dijon and cut it out with my paper snips.  Then stamping the cupcake top onto a piece of Cherry On Top with tiny little hearts and punched it out with the new Tree Builder Punch.

Then, see those little teeny tiny candles?  Yeah, well I cut them out of the Cherry on Top DSP also, right before I realized the Sprinkles of Life stamp set has a larger candle that would have been so much easier to cut!  ha ha - Jokes on me!  But hey, they are cute! Right?

The sentiments are from two stamp sets.  One that will be retiring June 2nd - Yippee Skippee and the other one is from Big Day, which was a Sale-a-Bration set.  They go so perfectly together.

This card used a base of Bermuda Bay.  The first layer from there is Watermelon Wonder cut at 5 1/4" x 4 and embossed with Large Polka Dot embossing folder.

Then cut one piece of DSP 4" x 2" and two pieces of DSP 4" x 1".  Center the two inch piece on the embossed piece and then add the two one inch pieces on the outside.

The Whisper White is 2" x 3 1/2" piece that was punched with Scalloped Tag Topper.

Thank you for looking in today.

Remember, if you don't have a Demonstrator and would like to have a catalog, please get in touch with me and we'll work out a way to get one to you.

Happy Monday!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's on this special day set aside just for them!

I'll be going out to breakfast with my boys, very early Sunday Morning as they both work night shifts and even though one has the day off, the other will be off work at 7 a.m. and we're meeting for breakfast at 7:30 a.m.  Sounds early, but we should miss the Sunday morning / Mother's Day crowd.

At the time of writing this (10:30 p.m. Saturday for posting at Midnight), I'm so excited to get together with my boys tomorrow.  They have such busy lives, it's hard to get quality time with them.

Now, on to the card for today.  Although this was made as a birthday card, I think it could easily be a Mother's Day card as well.  I wonder if we can have ice cream after breakfast??  hmmmm.

Everything you see here - except for the ribbon - is brand new goodies from the 2015 Annual Catalog.  I love being a demonstrator and getting to order sneak peek items early!

The DSP comes in a 6" x 6" pad and it is called Cherry on Top.  The stamp set is the cutest Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) set I've seen.  SOOO many things to do with it.  I hope you will all consider purchasing it first thing.  Each stamp set purchased sends $3.00 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The card stock is Mint Macaron (that's not a typo), Watermelon Wonder, Tip Top Taupe and the cone is Crumb Cake.

Enjoy your special day if you are a Mom.  If you are celebrating your Mother, enjoy every minute.

Thank you for looking in today.

Blessings,
Donna
