Saturday's workshop was so much fun! New stampers excited about learning and making something new and fun! Thank you ladies for coming today and for making today so much fun. Looking forward to stamping with you again soon!
Here is the tutorial as promised. My fingers are crossed that this works properly. Many thanks to Sam and her amazing project that she shares so freely. You can see her video HERE for a better visual if needed.

Saturday Workshop Sneak Peek
This awesome box was shared at Leadership last week and then shared by another Demonstrator. I simply had to give it a go and it was so easy to do! I'm currently working on a tutorial to go with me to my workshop today, which I'll share here too as well as the video from the Demo who created this gem!
The box ends up being 8" wide so there is a lot of room for kisses and hugs (the Hershey kind) or any other type of candy you want to put inside. It can be adjusted according to season. Valentine's, Easter, any birthday or just because! Just find your favorite DSP and color combinations and you're all set!
Be sure to come back for more details tomorrow! I should have them finished up and ready to share.
Thank you for coming in to see today. Have a wonderful Saturday!

Best Birthday Ever
When I first saw this Designer Series Paper (DSP), I immediately thought of birthday candles! Then I saw a card by Kay Kalthoff and knew I wasn't alone!
This is so easy, you'll want to try it as soon as you can, just like I did! Simply cut a portion of this DSP in between the rows. If it's a specific birthday age, you could count the number of candles needed for that birthday. Take your paper snips across the top of the "candles" to give them heights instead of having a straight line.
For the "flame" I used the little leaf from Perpetual Birthday Calendar (137167). I actually cut the leaf that I wanted to use out from the set. Since they are Photopolymer, it is very easy to see right where to stamp and when you want to use the whole stamp again, you can simply stick that leaf back onto the block when stamping.
I just LOVE being able to alter the Photopolymer stamps!
The "Happy Birthday" comes from Remembering Your Birthday (w-131347 / c-131350).
The base of the card is Bermuda Bay, then Night of Navy for the mats.
Inside, I stamped "enjoy the fuss" from Big News (w-134015 / c-134018)
Don't forget to add some color to your envelope flap. I know we have the great envelope liner framelits, but most people cut the top of their envelopes and possibly never see them. So, I prefer to decorate the outside.
I hope you enjoyed this new way to make some easy candles. If you don't have a stamp that can be used as a flame, keep in mind, you can always ink one it with our markers.
Happy Friday-Eve.

Lotus Blossom Revisited
You may think you've seen this already and you'd be close to being correct. I decided this card first seen HERE, needed a little tweeking. Additionally, I needed a couple of Sympathy cards and I thought this card would be perfect for it.
I decided I wanted a little mat between the two Rose Red papers, so I added a bit of Blackberry Bliss to match the mat around the Whisper White. I also changed the Rhinestones to a larger size and colored them with Rich Razzleberry Dark from Blendabilities.

Butterflies Thank You
Here's another card we made at our Team Regional meeting a couple of weekends ago. This is so pretty and I love the matching colors of the DSP - almost looks like little butterfly wings in the design.
Behind the butterfly is a piece of window sheet so that you can see into the card through the butterfly. The window sheet is attached with our glue dots which are very small.
Be sure to put a glue dot just above the head of the butterfly. I didn't at first and realized it needed it when I closed the card and then opened it up.
Inside is stamped "thanks a bunch" from Occasions 4 You, and we colored in the "thanks" with a matching Stampin' Write Pen. You could also use a matching Blendabilities, depending on the colors you choose.
Thanks for looking in today. I hope you had a fun weekend!

Big Day Starburst
Do you know what I love about Stampin' Up! projects? Color Coordination! One of the greatest things is how Stampin' Up! includes exactly what colors are included in each package of Designer Series Paper. A perfect example of how well everything goes together can be seen in the cards I made for today.
Both cards use Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay for the Starburst but can be mixed in any combination since all the colors are in the Designer Series Paper (Birthday Bash used here).
I added a couple of little banners from the Banner Punch to give the starburst a little extra.
Inside I added the birthday cake from the Big Day stamp set - one of the FREE choices from the Sale-a-Bration celebration.
Thank you for stopping in today. Will you be watching the Super Bowl today? We will, but mostly because of the commercials. We don't really have a team in the game, but we will be rooting for the commercials!
