My pretty valentine papers arrived and so I decided to try coloring these cuties with my watercolor pencils instead of the Stampin' Blends and adding the pretty paper behind.
I cut the All My Love Designer Series Paper 3 1/2" long and 2" wide and then punched the end with Banner Triple Punch. I filled the 2" x 8" Cellophane Bags with Conversation Hearts. I actually wanted to use Red Hots, but couldn't find them anywhere. These actually fill the bags better I think. About a 1/4 cup takes care of it. I made a funnel with some cardstock to easily fill the bags. The cardstock is nice and sturdy and worked well.
That little skunk is so stinkin' cute and the otter... well I just love those otters!

It was so nice to see this set in the 2019 Occasions Catalog. Living in the desert, we see some of the most unique plants and this set really brings out the best way to create a beautiful Prickly Pear Cactus.
This is a photopolymer set, so it's very easy to line up the pieces to create the look you want.
Recipe:
Lovely Lipstick - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" (cut 2 - one for inside also)
Whisper White scrap for sentiment
Stamps: Flowering Desert (148700) - Build your cactus by placing each of the various sized stamps onto clear blocks so that you can randomly stamp them without having to put the stamps on and off multiple times.
Ink: Pear Pizzazz and Lovely Lipstick - Stamp the Lovely Lipstick full strength and then again without re-inking to make the softer pink color.
Wrap a piece of Old Olive Linen Thread around the Whisper White and tie it off. Pop it up off of the Lovely Lipstick base card.
Stamp sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White and punch the ends with the Banner Triple Punch if you like. Pop it up over the Linen Thread.
Place the inside piece of Whisper White inside.

My next box of fun Occasions and Sale-a-bration supplies arrived and the first thing I had to do was make this card that I've CASED from Lynn Dunn. Thanks Lynn!
I did make a few changes though because I wanted to get more cards out of the paper that I had and in order to do so, my measurements were altered a bit.

Recipe
Basic Black Cardstock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Botanical Butterfly (top) 4" x 4"
Botanical Butterfly Gingham (bottom) 2" x 4"
Whisper White - Layering Ovals - size depending on sentiment used
Basic Black - Layering Ovals Scallop - sized to go with oval
3/8" Shimmer Ribbon - black - tied into a bow and attached with glue dots
Inside:
Whisper White - 5" x 8", scored and folded at 4"
Botanical Butterflies - 1 1/2" x 8", scored at 2", 4" and 6"
Butterflies are punched from the Botanical Butterflies using the Butterfly Duet Punch.
When adhering the Whisper White to the inside of the Basic Black, be sure to use either Tear-n-Tape or Liquid Tombo so that you are sure to have a solid hold. I also used Liquid Tombo to attach the butterflies to the strip.
You could also stamp another sentiment inside, but for this card, I chose to just put one on the outside. Stamp set used is a new one from the Occasions Catalog also beginning today - Vibrant Vases which pairs with the Vases Builder Punch from the Annual Catalog.
