Valentine's Galore

Saturday's workshop at Marie's house was great fun.  We even had some "little stampers" with us and they had a good time making Valentine's for their friends and families.

Here are the projects we made.  This one I think is one of my favorites.  I spotted it on Lorri Heiling's blog here.  Mine is different in color and design a bit, but the idea is the same and it just turned out so darn cute!!  I love the brand new Glimmer Paper in Red (121790).  It comes in two 12 x 12 sheets and makes awesome accents here and there.

We also made candy boxes using the Top Note Die - I just love that die, it's so versatile and is used in every possible way.  The flamingoe come from the Valentine Defined stamp set (121941 - wood or 123057 - clear mount).

We also made a birthday card using the new Build a Cupcake Punch from the Occasions Mini (121807) and Create a Cupcake Stamp set also from the Mini (121915 - wood or 121982 - clear mount).  Isn't it just the cutest stamp set you've seen?!

Happy Birthday to a Princess

There's a little Princess in Southern Arizona that's having a birthday on 1-11-11 and this is the card I made for her.  I really like how it turned out.  I know, I know, it's not a Princess Card, but it's ICE CREAM and Ice Cream is the next best thing!

The base is Pear Pizazz card stock, Build-a-Bear Workshop Pawsitively Prints DSP (117396), Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise.  Stamps:  Sweet Scoops.  Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Chocolate Chip for the sprinkles.  Two fun highlights include Red Glimmer Paper (121790) for the cherry on top and Daffodil Delight Pompom Trim (121885) for the bottom trim.  I sure hope she likes it!

It will be mailed tomorrow with some special books for her to learn to read with.  Happy Birthday Anna!

Happy Valentine's Day - Just around the corner...

Made these in preparation for an upcoming workshop.  I love the cute Flamingo's in this stamp set - brand new in the Occasions Mini - Valentine Defined - 121941 (wood) or 123057 (clear).  The paper is also from the Occasions Mini - Love Impressions Designer Paper Series (DSP) - 121780.  The ribbon is also Stampin' Up but has since retired.  I just loved the stripes.

Inside are Hershey's Nuggets covered with the Love Impressions DSP.  Nothing better than chocolate at Valentine's Time!

For Christmas, my boss has reminded me on several occasions how much she would love to see me make a variety box of cards as gifts, so this year I did it... and gave it to her for her Christmas present! I think she really liked it!  I even made the box for them to go in.
