Artistic Thanks

So sorry for missing a post yesterday.  It was finally time for us to get our taxes done and when we got home I still had a workshop box to open and sort.  I love going through all the goodies to see what everyone purchased.

PLUS, I still needed to make my thank you notes for the girls.

Here they are - fun and simple.

Recipe:

Tip Top Taupe - 6" x 3", scored and folded at 3"
Basic Black - 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"
Very Vanilla - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Stamps: Awesomely Artistic, Endless Thanks
Ink:  Tip Top Taupe

I began by stamping the dragonfly, so that I knew it would fit within the flowers and leaves and then stamped the corners with the flowers / leaves stamps.

The "thanks" is from Endless Thanks and is just such a pretty handwritten font.

Thank you for looking in today.  Have a Happy Saturday!  ~ Donna

Build a Birthday Birthday Fun

This idea was spotted on Connie Stewart's blog and I thought it was so cute!  So I changed up the colors a bit and the sentiment and while it's still cute, it just seemed too plain to me.

So... bring on the confetti!  Better!  But... where did the Party Hat go?

THERE it is!  Do you ever have a project that you just can't get it to be the way you really want it?  I know I do.  I'm thinking the party hat needs some color or some bling, or something.  What do you think?

Watermelon Wonder / Cucumber Crush - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4"

Don't miss! This is the last time we'll have our Weekly Deals!  Last day of these deals is April 18, 2016.

Stampin' Up! shared some important dates with us this past week, so I wanted to pass them along to you. Mark your calendars!

April 18th

The retiring products from the 2015-2016 annual and occasions catalogs will be posted at 1:00 PM (MT).  You may want to stock up on your 2014-16 In Color products now instead of waiting until the retirement list comes out. These items - especially the reinkers - sell out super quick!

May 3rd

All ordering will be down so Stampin' Up! can do catalog transition updates between midnight and 2:00 AM (MT). During this time no orders can be entered by demonstrators or customers.

After 2:00 AM (MT) Demonstrators can begin Pre-ordering products from the new catalog and will receive their complimentary copy of the new 2016-2017 annual catalog with this order.  I can hardly wait!

Starting this day NEW Demonstrators can choose their Pre-order products and will get a box of new catalogs in their Starter Kits.  Wooo Hooo!

Click here to learn more about the fun of being a demonstrator on my team as well as all the other great benefits of purchasing the Starter Kit.  Hobby Demo's are always welcome!  No pressure, just join us for the great discounts and fun!

Week of May 6

Stampin' Up! begins shipping 2016-2017 Annual Catalogs to selected customers. Standard (bulk) shipping can take up to three weeks, depending on your location. I'm making my list and checking it twice!

All of my regular customers will receive a catalog automatically from me.  If you would like a catalog and don't already have a Demonstrator, email me at StampsWellWithOthers@gmail.com and I will gladly mail one to you.

May 31st

This is the last day to order from the current catalogs - the 2015-16 Annual Catalog and the 2016 Occasions Catalog. This will also be the last day to order from the list of retiring products, too!

June 1

All ordering will be down so Stampin' Up! can do catalog transition updates from midnight to 3:00 AM (MT).  During this time no orders can be entered by demonstrators or customers.

The 2016-2017 annual catalog sales period begins at 3:00 AM (MT) and runs through May 31, 2017.

I know this is a lot to take in for a Tuesday, but I wanted to let you know some of the important dates coming up!

Awesomely Artistic Thanks

Time for some Thank You cards.  We can all use "thank you" cards and so many people should use them way more often.  I can remember always taking the time to write a thank you note when I receive a gift for a birthday, holiday or for anything special that needed that little bit of thanks.

Today's card took a couple of renditions to get what I wanted, but I think I've got it now.

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock  - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Watermelon Wonder - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White - 5" x 3 3/4"

Ink:  Blushing Bride, Watermelon Wonder, Crumb Cake
Butterfly - Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral

Stamps:
Awesomely Artistic (wood - 138694; clear mount - 139950)
Butterfly Basics (wood - 138813; clear mount - 138816; photopoly - 137154)
One Big Meaning (wood - 138788; clear mount - 139420)
Watercolor Wings - (photopolymer - 139424)

My first round of photography, I realized I didn't add the pearls, so these pictures below are before adding the pearls.  What a difference it makes!

Yep, definitely needs the pearls!

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Monday!  (yep...  it's Monday again!) ~ Donna

Fun With Friends

Saturday was a fun day with stamping friends at Kathy's workshop.  We even had a new (to us) stamper, Nicole.

Kathy and Nicole

Here are three of Nicole's cards.  I love how she changed up the tag on the birthday card so it was turned portrait style instead of landscape.  Also, since I had some extra kits made up, the girls were able to make two cards so she made her second teacup card into a tea-riffic card!

Below are Patti, Sue and Linda working on their cards.

Punch a Party

This was THE fastest card I think I've ever put together.  In preparing for Saturday's workshop, I had some strips of paper left with the balloons from It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack and since I had been using the balloon punch from the Party Punch Pack, I decided I wanted to use the cupcake for this one.

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick Card Stock -  8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Designer Series Paper Strip  - whatever you have left over - this one is 5 1/2" x 1 1/2"
Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Mint Macaron cut with the smallest square from the Square Framelits Die
Party Punch Pack Cupcake  - punched first on Whisper White, then punched with 1" square punch evenly spaced around the cupcake.

I popped up the white piece with half of a Stampin' Dimensional on each corner.  Then blinged it up with a Rhinestone.

Now I know what to do with the rest of my strips of DSP that were left over!  Yayyyy!

Thank you for looking in today - time for me to head to bed to be refreshed for tomorrow's (today's) party!  That's not confusing, is it!   ~ Donna
