More Amore Punched Hearts

Here is a very simple card that can be made so many ways with any paper you wish.  I chose to use some of the DSP from More Amore (129309) from the Spring Mini.  I punched  the hearts so that some of the little mini hearts were in view.  I popped them up with bits of dimensionals - about a 1/4 of one since the hearts are kind of small.

Stamps Well With Others Recipe:
Card Stock:  Crumb Cake, Real Red, Very Vanilla
DSP:  More Amore (129309),  Red Glimmer Paper (121790)
Extras:  Dimensionals  (104430),  Small Heart Punch (117193)

Guest Stamper - Danita

My very sweet BFF made this beautiful card and sent it to me.  Danita and I have been scrapping and stamping friends for more years than I can count, which means we're both getting older, so we don't count!  LOL   Even more noteworthy is when I told her I was thinking of becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator we began to talk about a "name" for my group.

As is often the way, we'd both seen a  stamp with the perfect words.  I didn't mention them to her and when she told me what she'd found, I nearly fell out of my chair.  Truth is, it shouldn't surprise me, we tend to do that ALL the time!  The perfect words... you should know this if you are reading my blog, but here it is:  Stamps Well With Others.  I should take a picture of the stamp and post it.  It sits right here by my work area so I can see it.

Thanks Danita!  You're the best!

Stamps Used:  Perfectly Preserved (w-126690 / c-126692).

  • Print Poetry Quilted Card

I found this great card idea from Lyssa Griffith-Zwolanek and changed up the colors and sentiment stamps.  I love it when I find the cute "quilted" cards.  I've never made a real quilt, but my Mom enjoyed making a few and I've always loved the hand-made snuggly quilts.  So, since I'm not much for sewing, I enjoy making them on paper.

Both cards are made from the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack.  What is even cooler, is that the both cards are made from the same three pieces of Print Poetry.  The great  Midnight Muse and Crumb Cake squares are on the other side of the Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals.  I love how that turned out!  There are several great color combinations in this DSP Stack.

This was such an easy card to make!  Using your 1 3/8" Square Punch, punch out 3 squares of three different DSP patterns.  Start by adhering one down dead center on the card stock.  Attach the other squares alternately around the first one to form the pattern used.  Trim up any that goes off the card (using the leftovers for the opposite side).  That's all there is to it.  So simple and so cute.

Attach a ribbon around the two top layers and adhere to the main card stock.  Stamp and attach a favorite sentiment and you've got a great card for any purpose you need.

    Stamps Well With Others Recipe:

    Top Card
Card Stock:  Midnight Muse, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
DSP:  Print Poetry DSP Stack (129312)
Tools:  1 3/8" Square Punch (119877), Decorative Label Punch (120907)
Ribbon:  Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon (119256)

    Bottom Card

Card Stock:  Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit, Very Vanilla
DSP:  Print Poetry DSP Stack (129312)
Tools:  1 3/8" Square Punch (119877), Decorative Label Punch (120907)
Ribbon:  Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon (126847)

Thanks for looking in!  Happy Friday!

    Recover Rapidly

Here is an adorable card by Lorri Heiling, my Sweet Upline, that she made for our swaps on Monday night. I loved this card so much that I just had to make a couple for my two girls in my downline who are both sick this week.  This was such an adorable card and yet, so simple to make.  I made four of them while watching t.v Tuesday night!

I changed the colors around to make them more girly for the girls, I hope they like pinks.  LOL.  Lorri's card would easily be a more masculine get well.  We all know how hard it is to make the right cards for the "boys"!.

Thanks Lorri for a great team meeting on Monday and for the great card to CASE.

Lorri's card stock choices were Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake (all C's!).  I'm going to guess the ink was Chocolate Chip as well (help me out here Lorri) or it was Early Espresso.  I think my ink pad was much wetter because my "dots" on the band-aids aren't as clear.  Lorri's looks much better!

Below is my card using Rose Red, Regal Rose and Sahara Sand.  Also Whisper White for the "band aids".  The ink is also Rose Red.  Rhinestones were used to dress up the card with a bit of bling.

The Stamp set is from Sale-A-Bration called Patterned Occasions (w-129621 / c-129624).  I think the only stamp I didn't show you earlier as I was making a card each night from this set.  I promise to move on to another set for my next post!

I see a Stamp-A-Stack coming with this card!!

Thanks for looking in and have a great Hump-Day!  Half-way through the week when this day is done!  Yay!
