Update on Angie

For all who have been praying for Angie, THANK YOU!!!

Here is the update from her hubby, Erik from Wednesday:

Hi all.

Ang’s surgery is over and I just spoke with the surgeon. He said it went well.

She will be in recovery for an hour+ before we can see her.

She was in good spirits going in with jokes and confidence—amazing.

It will be another journey to recovery and a new normal; but if anyone can create goodness out of the journey, she can and will.

Thanks all for the notes and support for her.

Erik

Thank you all for prayers. The truly hard part lies ahead in the healing.

Prayer Warriors Needed

Today I have a different post, but one that I feel very strongly about.  A fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is going to be going through at 10 a.m. Arizona time today (Wednesday, December 18th).

This post is from a fellow Stampin' Up Demo and friend Angie Brown Heuser. I’m asking for family & friends to please lift her and her family up in your prayers!!! Thanks in advance!!!❤️🙏

PRAYER WARRIORS NEEDED NOW!!

Ok my awesome prayer warriors, I need you one more time! As many of you know I’ve been going thru 5 1/2 years of knee surgeries with no avail. Tomorrow morning I am going in for my final surgery, an Above Knee Amputation. As many of you know I am an active person and that I’ve been patient on my “recovery” but the pain, lack of range of motion, blood clots and my good side starting to have problems the decision seemed easy. I am grateful for my deep faith that God has got me and has been holding me through the past 3 months as this decision has come to fruition. This is to say though, it’s been a roller coaster ride of emotions. What I have come to realize, however, is that God has had this planned all along and He is using me in a way that I can find joy in this moment of my life. Please pray for me, pray hard. My surgery is scheduled for 10:00 AM tomorrow morning (the 19th) and my human nature, to worry, is trying to creep back into my heart.

Thank you all for how much you have come to my aid in prayers! You are all so special to me!
May you all have a blessed Christmas! I will update when I am in the right place!
Much love!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Angie

Thank you all for your prayers.  Have a blessed day!

Hoppy Birthday!

My Occasions Pre-order arrived today!  Yayyyy!  AND... my UPS Driver was running late so I was able to be home when he delivered my stuff so I could give him the cookies and card.  I was so happy he was late!  He was too, so he could get the cookies.  He said I make the best cookies of anyone!

It was a small order, but there will be more, guaranteed.  I just had to use my first FREE Sale-a-bration set "So Hoppy Together" and I made it into a birthday card for a very dear friend.  She'll never expect it to be a FROG!

I was so happy to see that I still had some of my Toil and Trouble DSP with the cute jumping frogs.  Mind you, I don't have a lot of it, but if I use little strips like this one, I should be able to get a few cards out of it.

Recipe:
Lemon Lime Twist - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" (run through the Subtle embossing folder)
Toil and Trouble Frogs - 5 1/4" x 1 1/4" (this will over lap the Whisper White a bit)

Wrap a piece of ribbon around these two pieces once they are attached together, but before putting them onto the base.  I used 1/2" Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon

Lemon Lime Twist - 3 3/4" x 2 1/4"
Granny Apple Green - 3 5/8" x 2 1/8"
Whisper White - 3 1/2" x 2"  - Stamp the Frog and Unicycle here

Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4" - inside stamped with Happy Birthday from Detailed With Love and another sweet frog from So Hoppy Together.

The frogs are colored with Stampin' Blends Granny Apple Green Combo and the Unicycle is colored with the Smoky Slate Combo.

Thank you for looking in today!  It's TUESDAY and OH MY GOODNESS... only a week away from Christmas Day!!

A Thank You for my UPS Man

I just love my UPS Driver, most Stampin' Up! Demo's feel that way about the person that brings them all their Stampin' Toys!  I'm lucky to have the same driver most of the time and when I'm home, I always watch for him and say hello.  He loves my chocolate chip cookies!

For Christmas though, I made Peanut Blossoms which is a soft peanut butter cookie with a Hershey's Kiss in the middle that goes on as soon as they come out of the oven.  So yummy!  I need to get them out of the house!

Recipe:
Cherry Cobbler - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4" - cut 2 - one for outside, one for inside
Cherry Cobbler - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8" - embossed with Swirls and Curls embossing folder

Stamps:   Spirited Snowmen and Snow is Glistening (inside)
Ink: Granny Apple Green and Memento Black
Stampin' Blends:  Cherry Cobbler, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie and Pool Party

Wink of Stella is used on the snowman's body.  I wish it would photograph better though!

Inside, I stamped snowflakes from Spirited Snowman in Pool Party and a sentiment from Snow is Glistening with Granny Apple Green.

I just wish I could be home tomorrow for the delivery.  He should be delivering my Pre-Order from the Occasions Catalog!  I can hardly wait!

Thank you for looking in today.  Happy Monday!

Blizzard of Wishes

Snowflakes have never really been on my radar in my crafting.  I think that is because I live in a snow free zone being in Phoenix, Arizona.  We just don't get snow here and honestly don't even get that many cold days, so I just don't think about them much.

However, I really do like this Snow is Glistening set, complete with a bunch of thinlits dies.

Here's is today's fun snowflake card.

Recipe:
Night of Navy - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Silver Foil - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8" - Use this to die cut the snowflake
Balmy Blue 4 7/8" x 3 3/4"
Whisper White scrap for sentiment
Whisper White 5 1/4" x 4" inside

Stamp with Versamark onto the Balmy Blue, add white embossing powder and set with the heat gun.  Across the top I used the more solid stamp with snowflakes, embossed and set that, then stamped again with the smaller stamp with snowflakes and then embossed and set that.

I popped up the snowflake with dimensionals in the middle only.

Here is the back side of the Silver Foil with the snowflake cut out.  I meant to take a picture of the other side and forgot until I'd already adhered it to the Balmy Blue.  Sorry!

Stamp the sentiment onto Whisper White using Versa Mark and then adding Silver Emboss.  Add some Rhinestones and you have a beautiful card!

Thank you for looking in today.  Have a blessed Sunday!
