Like I always tell my stampers, "there are no mistakes in stamping, only opportunities for embellishment". So tonight I embellished! Do you see the little ladybug that's flying away? Well, just between us, I managed to stamp the little bug there by dropping the stamp. Well, now, I couldn't just have a ladybug in the air without wings, so I stamped another one on a piece of scrap and carefully cut out just the body, then cut it in half to be wings. Ta da!
Now, on to the details:
Base - Whisper White Thick - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Sweet Sugarplum - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White Cardstock - 5" x 3 3/4"
Ink: Memento Black, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red
In stamping "behind" the flowers to place the stems and leaves, I stamped and fussy cut the large flower on a post-it note and covered up the flower so I could stamp the leaves.
Thank you for looking in today. Happy Saturday! ~ Donna

Well done on the stamping of the flowers. I thought the lady bug flying was so fun and then I read what you did! Amazing and well done! Fun colors.

Thank you Chris. You just never know where inspiration will strike, even if it comes when searching for a way to cover up an "oops" LOL
