Mother's Day Garden

Finally, no casing tonight... This is all mine.  This is the card I made for my Mother-in-law.  How do you like this pretty paper?  This is one that will available to you beginning June 1st and it's called Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP).  This stack is 6" x 6".  I really like the smaller designer packs.  They take up less space are easy to store.

The sentiment I stamped from scratch using "Make a Difference" which is an alphabet that is available now with the Early Release products.  Only available through with the A Little More Please Bundle or the Gotta Have it All Bundle.  One letter at a time stamping, but it goes very quickly and the alphabet is very forgiving since it doesn't have to be lines up perfectly.

Recipe:
Mint Macaron - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Garden Impressions DSP - 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White - 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" - Cut to size AFTER stamping the sentiment
Mint Macaron - 3 7/8" x 1 5/8"

Stamps - Make a Difference
Ink - Blueberry Bushel (NEW!)

Since there was some unwanted white space on the sentiment, I decided to add a flower from the DSP.  Look how lucky I got with it lining up to the background.  That wasn't even planned, but nice that it worked out.  I added another to the front of the envelope and of course, decorated the flap of the envelope.

Thank you for looking in today!  It's Finally Friday!

  1. Love how you made the sentiment from "scratch!" It turned out great! Love all the happy colors. I can't believe how it lined up with the DSP - amazing! Looks like you meant to line up! Anyway, happy Mother's Day.

    1. I'm really happy with this new font. It is so forgiving it doesn't have to be lined up exactly perfectly. That flower was such a happy accident!

Happy Mother's Day to You! Give Ted a hug for me.
