My May Swap Card

Here is my swap card from our Monthly Team Meeting.  This was fast and easy using my Stamparatus!  Starting Friday, June 1st you can order one too.  Believe me you will love it!

For the swap, I only made a card front, so when writing up the "recipe" below, I realized that making it as a full card, the dry embossed flower would have to be placed on the right side - either upper or lower.  The reason for this is because you don't want to run the cardstock all the way through, just enough on the corner to look nice.

Recipe -
Grapefruit Grove - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Old Olive - 4 1/8" x 3"
Very Vanilla - 4" x 2 7/8"

Here is how you would place the open side of your cardstock to emboss only the corner.  You could also make a single panel and layer it up.  Make the panel - 5 1/4" x 4", then pop it up onto the base card.

When coloring your flowers use the large circular stamp, ink it with Grapefruit Grove and stamp off once, then onto the flower.  Do the same with the smaller stamp and it will add just enough color to look great!

Thank you for looking in today.  Remember, today is the last day to purchase from the old catalog!

  1. Love this! Thanks for the tip about stamping off too. I think I will have to CASE this one too once I get that EF and stamp set. I do have the in-color in pads and sample pack of paper. Just am a bit under the weather off and on.....
