Pumpkin Spice Season is Near

If you have the Coffee Cafe stamp set and matching framelits from the Annual Catalog, then you're going to want to get the Merry Cafe set that you'll find in the 2017 Holiday Catalog.

Personally, I like the Pumpkin Spice Latte, but not enough to join the craze!  I'll have one or two over the next few months and I'll be happy.  Offer me pumpkin bread or any other dessert with pumpkin, and I'm all there!  Yum... there's a couple of them I'm anxious to make soon.

So, when I saw this stamp set with this little saying, I just knew I had to have it.  There are several seasons covered in this set, I think you will really like it too.

Recipe:
Tangerine Tango (because that's the color that matches the DSP (Designer Series Paper)
8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Painted Autumn DSP - 5 1/4" x 4" (available September 1st)
Tangerine Tango - 3 1/4" x 2 1/4"
Very Vanilla - 3 1/8" x 2 1/8"
Cup - Tangerine Tango
Lid - Crumb Cake
"Sleeve" - Crumb Cake

Stamps:  Coffee Cafe, Merry Cafe (Merry - available September 1st)
Ink:  Memento Black
Inside Pumpkins: Painted Autumn DSP (available September 1st)

Kathy's Workshop - Variations in Cards

I promised I'd get some pictures posted.  Saturday night's storm was quite unexpected and when we heard that thunder boom and saw the lightning so close, I just knew I had to get the computer signed off!

Here are the sweet ladies that joined me on Saturday for a stamping workshop.  We even had a new stamper (and a young one with this group!) who is a Senior in High School this year.  It was fun to see her creativity!

The cards we made were recently on my blog and I think were a big success.  It was fun to see the variations they all came up with for the Watts of Occasions card.  You can see them all below.  I'm going to have to start putting their names with their cards when I take the picture, or make them hold them up as I take the pics!

I think this was Mary's:

This one, I believe, is Mary Ann's.

Is this a great smile or what??  She came all the way from Nevada to join us and does so regularly!

This one chose to put the sentiment and the bulb on the piece of watercolor paper I gave them.  Some cut the bulbs out, some didn't.  They don't love to fussy cut as much as I do!  ha ha!

This is Patty's.  I recognize her fingers!

I know this one is Claire's because she used the bigger sentiment and put it on the slant.  Great Job! This was our teenager!  She really gave our little group some life and was just so enjoyable to be around!

I think this is Mary again (because that's my little basket in the corner of the picture...lol)

Didn't they do a great job?  A fun party as always and Kathy was able to pick out so many freebies and a half price item.  Great party for all of us!

Thank you for looking in today ~

Happy Monday???

Big Storm...

Big storm here tonight (Saturday night) before I could get anything posted.  Going to shut down as the lightning is closer than I'm comfortable with!

Will post pics later!

Toodles!

Hogs and Kisses

When I saw these "Hogs and Kisses" on an Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop, I knew I had to CASE it.  This idea came from Martha Inchley at Inch of Creativity.  Aren't they just adorable?

The colors I used are Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango and Bermuda Bay and then just randomly mixed them up.  In the bag behind them are, of course, Hershey Hugs and Kisses.

In order to get a nice matching image each time you cut them, use this little trick below.  Take a permanent marker and draw the line that is covered by the framelit onto the framelit.  This way you can line it up perfectly each time.

Thank you for looking in today!  I'm off to do a workshop at Kathy's.  If you are so inclined, you could order online and use a hostess code to give Kathy some extra credit.  She would love it!  Her Hostess Code is:  3UYP2XPG

Happy Saturday!!

Carols of Chrismas

Don't miss out on the chance to get an early start on your Christmas Cards!  I know, where I am - in Phoenix - it is still 110 degrees outside - kind of hard to think about Christmas in these temperatures, but what better way to cool off.  Have some friends over, serve up some snow cones and ice cream and everyone will be nice and cool and ready to get started!

Click on the image below to shop now in my store or you can click HERE as well.

Check out the video below.  If you don't see a video and you are reading this in your email, then go directly to my blog to see it.  Some email programs won't show the video directly.

Thank you for stopping in today.  Sorry I don't have a project to show you of my own, but if I show you what I'm working on, it won't be a surprise for my stampers on Saturday!  :)

Happy Friday!

Little Piggy Gift Card Holder

This little piggy helps you go to market!  Well, with the right gift card it could.  This is another project from our Team Regional.  Anything with one of these Piggy's is always a hit with me!

Recipe:

  • Flirty Flamingo - 11" x 4 1/4", scored at 4" and 9 1/4"
  • Fold on the score lines.
  • On the small flap, place the edge in the Envelope Punch Board at the 1" mark and punch.  Flip the cardstock around and punch the other side at 1" also
  • Shimmery White card stock - 3" x 2 1/2"
  • Basic Black - 3 1/8" x 2 5/8"
  • Stamp the pig with Archival Basic Black Ink
  • Using Aqua Painter, color the whole pig with Pink Pirouette Ink from the lid of your pad
  • After that dries completely, go back and shade some of the pig with Flirty Flamingo
  • After that dries make some Crumb Cake mud smudges.

  • Cut a 9" x 1"piece of DSP and wrap it around the bottom of the card, adhering to the back of the card.
  • Wrap Whisper White ribbon around the card and DSP.

  • Inside the card - Whisper White 6 1/2" x 3 3/4", scored at 5" and 1/2"
  • Fold into a Z and adhere to the card as shown below.

I really like this sweet little card.  What do you think of it?  Thank you Lorri for another adorable project!

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Thursday!

Watts Up?

This is such a great stamp set.  So many variations from Love  You to Christmas!

Today, I'm doing Thank you and Get Well.

Recipe:
Basic Black - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Crushed Curry - 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper - 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Whisper White (inside) 5 1/4" x 4"

Stamp your light bulb of choice onto watercolor paper and color it with your Aqua Painter and ink from the inside of your ink pad lid.

Fussy cut the light bulb out, leaving a bit of a border.  I think it looks better that way personally, but if you prefer you can certainly cut on the line.

Don't forget to put some Whisper White inside for writing!

Thanks a Watt for stopping by today!  It's Hump Day!
