The stamps are a Sale-a-Bration freebie called Flowering Fields.
So delicate and sweet, don't you think?
Recipe:
Daffodil Delight 6" x 3" folded and scored at 3"
Shimmery White - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
I stamped the flowers with Mossy Meadow and water colored them with my aqua brush and various colors.
Thank you for looking in today. Happy Friday! Donna
Delicate and sweet about sums it up! When you stamped with the Mossy Meadow and water colored didn't it run a bit? Maybe mine was too wet so I went back to using the Memento ink or Staz On to stamp with. There is something about the Daffodil Delight that makes me smile - must be that warm sunny color to it! Very pretty and your customers will love it!

I was afraid it would run, but it didn't seem to. About the only place I noticed a little bit of an issue was using the Daffodil Delight ink, but not enough to make a difference.
ReplyDeleteThe key is to use either watercolor paper or the Shimmery White cardstock. The regular cardstock doesn't work well with watercolor. Plus there was a bit of drying time before I did any coloring.
Thank you so much for your comments. I look forward to them each day!
Thanks for the info, I don't do too much water coloring but with some of these new stamps I just might have to dive in more.
