Ship in a Bottle...er Jar

I spotted the ship in one of the jars somewhere and couldn't get it out of my head, so I thought I'd give it a try.

This was really simple to put together.

Base:  Bermuda Bay - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Daffodil Delight - 5" x 3 3/4"
Whisper White - 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"

Ink:  Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight
I used the largest jar from Jar of Love and the sailboat from Swirly Bird

Thank you for looking in today.  Have a Blessed Sunday!  ~ Donna

  1. How funny, when I saw the little fish on the one DP paper and the card with the jar holding the fish - I thought - I wonder if you could do a ship in the jar? Great minds must think alike not that mine is very great lately! But, at least you are trying it! I, of course, just have the one jar from the old set and I guess I don't have a little boat or ship to play with either. Anyway, this is just too darn cute! I had to smile since you used Bermuda Bay too (get it?). Fun tilt to the paper too. I was thinking of using a window sheet or the clear acetate and couldn't decide if it needed anything either when I was mentally planning this. Just a great fun card!

    1. Bermuda Bay was the only logical choice. Yes, there's Marina Mist and probably better (marina, etc) but I love the brightness of the Bermuda Bay. :)

    2. Or Pacific Point (or is that a CTMH color)- I was going with the play on the seaside words with the colors.
