Pop Up Love

This girl has bitten off more than she can chew, at least as far as giving good directions on this one, so I'm going to give you the link to the video I watched for clarification.  I was going to give you my instructions in pictures, but it just came out more confusing.

Here is the inside to finish yesterday's post.  Isn't it fun!  Even better on video!   Click HERE to see the video that I followed for instructions.  My measurements are below.  In the video, by Cathy Williams, she cuts the DSP to fit into the folds.  Mine is just simply a rectangle placed down first.

Recipe:

Whisper White Thick Cardstock - 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2
Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4" x 4" (times 2)
Whisper White Cardstock (not thick) 11" x 2 3/4" - score at 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 8 1/4" (fold as shown above in the final product)
Whisper White 8 1/2" x 2 1/2" (see video for scoring and folding)
Designer Series Squares 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
Large Letters Framelits Dies

Thank you for looking in today.  One more day until the weekend!  Yayyy!

  1. What can I say, absolutely amazing, cute, adorable, etc. I will check out the video later. I sucked it up and made a bunch of valentines - I challenged myself to use a color combo I would never have chosen and a sketch I wanted to try for some silly reason. PLus, I wanted to use a certain set and use a bunch of scraps. What more can I say than, they are in the mail!

    1. I should probably send out Valentine's but just haven't done that since the kids were little. I've made a few this year, way more than ever, simply because our stuff was so cute this time, I couldn't resist!

Wait until you see the next card I made with this pop-up design... OMG. I'm so excited I can hardly wait! Going to make it at our workshop on Saturday!

  2. Well, I can say yours is in the mail! Someone, was it Brian King maybe? who challenged me to make something out of colors that I would not normally pair up. Then, I was too cheap to buy the sentiment and handwrote it and sort of messed it up! Oh well, the thought was there!

Looking forward to seeing your other pop up card!
