Hogs and Kisses

When I saw these "Hogs and Kisses" on an Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop, I knew I had to CASE it.  This idea came from Martha Inchley at Inch of Creativity.  Aren't they just adorable?

The colors I used are Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango and Bermuda Bay and then just randomly mixed them up.  In the bag behind them are, of course, Hershey Hugs and Kisses.

In order to get a nice matching image each time you cut them, use this little trick below.  Take a permanent marker and draw the line that is covered by the framelit onto the framelit.  This way you can line it up perfectly each time.

Thank you for looking in today!  I'm off to do a workshop at Kathy's.  If you are so inclined, you could order online and use a hostess code to give Kathy some extra credit.  She would love it!  Her Hostess Code is:  3UYP2XPG

Happy Saturday!!

  1. Great idea of marking on the framelit so you know exactly how to match the little pigs up. Was it Warhol that used to do similar designs with the squares of designs? That is what reminded me when I saw it on the Stamp Review hop. I thought it was a cute idea and wondered how to get the exact image and now I know. Thanks Donna!

    1. I wish I could take credit for the marking of the framelit. That all came from Martha Inchley. This was a total CASE! Oh except for how I framed the "hogs and kisses", I used a different stamp set.

Yes, it was Andy Warhol that had the similar designs. Love how that turned out!
