  1. This set made me smile when I saw it in the catalog. I could have had many fun hours creating cards for my parents with this set. They were party people and we had a big bar in the basement for parties. It even had a blender built in for making peach daiquiris, fuzzy navels, and all kinds of fun fancy drinks - even some nonalcoholic! I also thought some of the in-colors would make fantastic drink colors on a card too. So, I enjoyed your cards today from the sweet one to the cheers one that could be used as an invitation too. All the little embelishments make me smile from just a straw to the little umbrellas. I could see the beer card being fun for St. Patrick's Day colored with green for green beer. I heard on the news today that today is National Iced Tea Day so this was a perfect set to use. So fun and festive. Plus the tilted panel on the sweet card made me smile as you might be a little off kilter drinking some of these fun drinks! Of course it could be a frappachino or something coffee related with just a quick change of ink! Cheers!

    1. The options with this set are endless! So many fun things to do and like you said, the new in colors are perfect for a peach or strawberry (or sugarplum!) daiquiri.

I bet you had a fun time growing up with Party Parents! I remember when having a basement with a big party room and a bar were a big thing. Being in Phoenix, there are very few basements, but there was family up in the pines with basements and they had the standard bar set up in the basement game room.

Cheers! to you! :) thank you for your comments, I look forward to them each day!

  2. One time people were having so much fun that my parents went to bed about 3:00 a.m. and just told the stragglers to be sure and lock the door on their way out otherwise breakfast would be served probably around 8:00. Funny thing I can't remember if anyone was there for breakfast or when they left! With a ranch style house the basement was the full length of the house but part was partitioned off for dad's shop for the business and a section for a little kitchen and laundry room. So, it was pretty big. The bar was a section from the old Eagles Club when they remodeled!

    1. Sounds like a lot of fun! Except that I don't climb stairs well, I would love a house with a basement. Especially here in Phoenix where it would be a perfect cool place to hang out in the summer!
