Abstract Stamps or DSP?

The Garden Impressions 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper matches perfectly with the Abstract Impressions stamp set.  Check it out below.

Another great thing about any of the 6" x 6" paper is you can use one whole piece on a card and envelope and have very little waste.  I cut a square in half at 3" x 6" and then trimmed one of them to 3" x 5 1/2" and added it to the card.  The other 3" strip is used for the envelope.

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick cardstock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Garden Impressions DSP - 5 1/2" x 3"
Whisper White card stock - Stitched Shapes largest circle

Stamps - Abstract Impressions
Inks - Powder Pink, Melon Mambo, Old Olive

Stamp the largest petals of the flower with Powder Pink, then stamp the next boldest petals with Melon Mambo (stamped off once), then the fine petals with straight up Melon Mambo.  Add the leaves with Old Olive.  I held a post it over part of the flower so the leaves wouldn't stamp over the pinks.

Pop up the Stitched Shapes circle with Stampin Dimensionals and stamp the inside (if desired).

Remember the envelope!

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Saturday!

  1. Thanks for the reminder about how to get both a card and envelope flap out of the 6x6 pieces. I do like the white on this with this busy print. Love your sentiment for the front.
