Embossed Window Sheet Cards

I spotted this great idea on Patty Bennett's blog.  I completely changed the paper and embossing folder, but the cool Window Sheet idea is what I'm loving here!

The Window Sheet (114323) is embossed with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder (129378) then placed over Daffodil Delight card stock.  It really looks so cool in person.  The second picture actually shows it better.

When using a Window Sheet on any card, you need to remember to "hide" the adhesive under the DSP or the Sentiment so it doesn't show through.  You could also use ribbon to hide the adhesive under.

Stamps Well With Others Recipe:

Card Stock:  Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight

DSP:  Gingham Garden (129310), Window Sheets (114323)
Stamps:  Yippee-Skippee!  (w-131341 / c-131344)
Ink:  Melon Mambo
Tools:  Honeycomb Embossing Folder (129378), Apothecary Accents Framelits (127003), Labels Collection Framelits (125598)

Thanks for looking in today!

  1. I see the shine on the embossed area but not sure what you mean by a "window sheet"...

  2. The "window sheet" is a piece of clear plastic, like vellum but clear. It's on page 156 of the Annual Catalog. You can use it to make boxes or lids for boxes, or a window into a card or a box. SOOO many things to be done with it.

    It comes in 12" x 12" sheets - 2 to a pack for $4.95.
