Memorial Day Thank You

In looking through some old files today, I wanted to share a card from a couple of years ago made from Work of Art.  Amazing how looking back a couple of years makes you realize how much my style and creativity have changed.

Just pretend it is a very strong wind blowing this flag out of whack.  Then it looks pretty good.

Base:  Night of Navy or Real Red - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4"
Ink:  Night of Navy and Real Red

Thank you for looking in today.  Please remember to fly your flags today.    ~ Donna

  1. This is the set I made my flag with only I used the sort of arched swoosh in the upper left hand corner for the stripes. I think I stamped it that way and then turned my paper around and stamped again to make a wave. It was ok but still needed some help of some kind or more work. I probably pitched it though. It is fun to see what others do with the same stamps.

Hot and humid here today. Ted and I didn't get far with a walk - I was hot and crabby and he was wanting to go different places and sniff so we came home. My clothes were soaked in sweat. Otherwise, no plans today that I am aware of. How about you?

  2. I'm fairly sure I made one with the bigger swoosh as well, but I couldn't find it anywhere! So I found this one!

91 and dry here right now. It may be hot HOT HOT in Phoenix, but at least we don't have the hot and humid. It has actually been really nice here until Saturday, we felt the heat kick in then.

Going out shopping in a bit, a couple of things I want to get to craft with if I can find them. Will share in a blog post when accomplished!

    Have a great day!
