Water Color Words Happy Birthday!

Just a very quick post today as Thursday was a very long day (for those of you who don't know, I post the night before, so if it ever sounds goofy, that is why!)

Couldn't miss a co-worker's birthday though, so whipped this up really fast.

Very Simple Recipe

8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Whisper White Thick, scored and folded at 4 1/4"
5 1/4" x 4" Basic Black
5 1/8" x 3 7/8" It's My Party Designer Series Paper.

Stamps Watercolor Words - Stamped in Memento Black onto
Whisper White  3 5/16" x  2 1/8"
Basic Black 3 7/16"  x 2 1/4"

Quick and Easy and since it's for a guy, no flowers or girly colors.  Yuck!  ha ha ha!

Thank you for looking in today!  Have a Fabulous Friday!

  1. It is quick and easy but I bet it will be appreciated. I wouldn't worry about it being for a guy or female - it works and is doable. I like it and it has a bit of fun with the candles and that jaunty tilt of the sentiment just adds to it. Good job esp. with this election week for you. Hopefully you can rest up tomorrow and Sunday.

    1. Thank you Chris! He liked it! Woo Hoo! He was really excited by his gift, a bottle of Georgia Mustard BBQ Sauce from Famous Dave's BBQ. Hubby and I went last night and I snagged a bottle for the birthday boy. He had mentioned loving it a couple of weeks ago and I just couldn't resist.

Oh yes, hoping to sleep in tomorrow. Almost did today, can't do that!

    2. Bonus that you were able to go out for supper and also get the bottle of sauce. We have Famous Dave's in Des Moines but I don't remember the mustard BBQ sauce but my husband probably would since they eat there at lunch once in awhile and he is more BBQ savvy than me. It is always good to be appreciated when you have made a card etc. for people.
