Saturday was World Card Making Day - Did you get a chance to make any cards? I did! Here are two of them.
This was a quick and easy card to make and will mail easily without bulky embellishments. I thought about making the Very Vanilla layer straight, but the look of falling leaves and acorns needed that tilted look.
Recipe:
Chocolate Chip - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Very Vanilla - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Stamps: Painted Harvest
Ink: Soft Suede and Early Espresso
Stamp the bottom of the acorn with Soft Suede and the tops with Early Espresso - stamp off once first to lighten the ink.
Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso
Leaf Die Cut - from Seasonal Layers Thinlits
Thank you for looking in today! Have a Blessed Sunday!

Yes tilted and I like the one leaf turned the other way as in actually falling down. Our trees aren't as pretty as normal with the weird weather we have had. But some trees are still pretty. Squirrels are making a mess with the walnut tree in the next yard shedding the skin and then burying the nuts all over the yard as well as all the acorns from all the oak trees on the block.

Thank you Chris! Our pecan trees are just barely starting to turn. We still are having highs in the 90's so I'll be so glad to see cooler weather. Although, it tends to go from warm to COLD overnight and that kinda stinks. I want a transition! :)
