This is one of the fun cards we made at Mary Ann's workshop on Saturday.  It was so much fun and the girls let their creative coloring loose to color the doggies sweaters!  Sadly, I was having fun visiting and didn't get any pictures.  I'm going to have to put an alarm on my phone to remind me to take pictures!

Recipe:
Soft Suede - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Coffee Break Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4" x 4"
Chocolate Chip - Staircase
Whisper White for the Tree and the Dogs
Garden Green - Tree
Memento Black - Dogs
Gold Foil - Star
Enamel Shapes - Various color families

Stamps:  Ready for Christmas Bundle (with Christmas Staircase Thinlits)

The stairway was shortened just a bit so there would be room for the doggies to be on the card completely and layer up the tree.

This is such a cute cute card!  I can't wait to make more!

Happy Monday!

  1. Too funny and too cute. Somehow I don't think Ted would consider a sweater. Henry, our first basset, loved his sweater and actually bared his teeth when I tried to take it off in June. Luckily (I question that) he rolled in something really gross and I tore that sweater right off of him and it shrunk in the washer so it got thrown away. But, he had a new one come winter but not as nice as the first one. He also did not like the bath as much as we had to scrub hard to remove the stinky smell!

Love how you decorated the tree with the enamel shapes. I had not thought about that for other trees.

    1. Thank you Chris. The enamel shapes seemed like a good idea since the girls had so much other stuff to do with the card. I did tell them they could stamp the ornaments and color them for the tree if they wanted to.

Poor Henry, what did he roll in that was that bad?? A skunk? LOL Poor boy!

I think the only thing we've put on Nike was a t-shirt type thing that was orange and said BOO on it for Halloween. He wears a harness instead of a collar so he doesn't really mind the shirt. He should probably have one at bedtime in the summer since Mark always has his fan on and is constantly covering the dog. LOL

  2. Henry was the smaller basset. He rolled in cat poop, I think and it was bad! I can not see Ted wearing a sweater but last night he was shivering a bit. He has a lot more body fat on him as you could see in the photos. I am not sure if they make dog sweaters in his size. But, as soon as people started ohhing and ahhing over him in the sweater we would be good to go. People are always saying isn't he cute or adorable and he stops to be petted etc. What a ham!
