Stamps: Remarkable You and Birthday Blooms
Each color available comes in a Dark and a Light and each pen comes with a brush tip and a pen tip.
Begin by coloring the whole flower with the brush tip and the Light color. Then using the pen tip of the Dark color, fill in where you want the darker shading. This is typically at the bottom of the petals (for a flower) or under the leaves or petals. Imagine where the sun or light is shining on your object and the darker areas will be the parts away from the light.
Then using the pen tip of the Light color again, blend and soften the darker ink until you get what you like.
So many possibilities for coloring with the new Stampin' Blends and this flower from this set is great for coloring!
Give it a try! I bet you will love it! Coloring is so relaxing and beautiful works like this make it all worthwhile!
~ Happy Friday! ~

Gorgeous! I have this set and I think I need to get play with it and those blending markers. I did have fun with the old ones with a Halloween design. So much to color and not enough time or the right materials.

The Stampin' Blends as did the Blendabilities, color best on Stampin' Up! Whisper White. They don't do well on any other papers because they bleed through or swell outside the edges.
DeleteI'm sure loving mine more and more when I can play with them.
