Going, Going, Gone...

I wish I could say April Fool and tell you Sale-a-Bration was carried over, but sadly, I'm not.  It's all gone!

That being said, I still want to share a card I made using one of the add-on Sale-a-Bration set called "Pedal Pusher".  I've had it for a couple of weeks but with my long work hours I just never had the time or energy to play with it.

So I made a clean and simple card that comes out pretty darn cute!

Recipe:

Whisper White Thick Card Stock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Basic Black - 4 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Melon Mambo 4 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Whisper White 4 1/4" x 3 1/4"

How EASY are those measurements to remember??  Gives a nice wide border and then matching measurements down from there (3/4" with 3/4"; 1/2" with 1/2"; 1/4" with 1/4")

Stamp the bicycle built for two in Memento Black and sentiment of choice to go with it.  Oh and don't forget to stamp the basket and hearts onto the card as well.

Attach the Whisper White to the Melon Mambo and tie 25" of Baker's Twine from page 6 in the Occasions Catalog (140555) and then attach to the Basic Black, then to the card base.

Thank you for looking in today!  It's great to be creating again!  ~ Donna

  1. Oh what luscious layers! It is fun to see the two sizes. The basket with the hearts is very cute. I wish I had the time and money to have picked up some Sale-a-bration goodies but I think I can get by! Have a good relaxing weekend.

    1. Thank you Chris! I have to say, some of my layer measurements were by accident when I didn't measure twice and cut once, but I do love how they came out!

Looking forward to a weekend without the office and extra time with my paper and ink!
