Sending Well Wishes

I just love it when things come together easily and turn out beautiful.  Even though I worked longer tonight at the office, I just had to make something pretty to make up for the stress of the day.

Recipe:
Whisper White Thick Card Stock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Pool Party - 4 1/2" x 3 1/4
Whisper White - 4 1/4" x 3"

Thank you for looking in today!  Happy Hump Day!

    1. Hi Mary-Ann. Thank you for asking! I just realized I didn't explain that when I did the post!. The blue "splot" (maybe a blot!) comes from the Love What You Do stamp set. You can see it in the supply list below the blog post. I inked it with Pool Party and then stamped it off onto my grid paper (or a piece of just old copy paper you aren't using) and then lightly stamped it onto the card. It's called "stamping off". If you want a color lighter, you could stamp it off onto copy paper twice so that there is even less ink left of the stamp.

Please feel free to ask any time. You can reach me at StampsWellWithOthers@gmail.com

      Thank you again!

  2. Thank you Donna. Sadly I don't have the "splot" stamp set. Well it will now have to go on the list (which seems to be forever growing). I do like the idea of this stamping off technique so will go try it now. Thank you ever so much for your quick response. XX M

    1. HI Mary-Ann - you might have something in your stamps that would work. Look through them and see if there is anything else that would work. Maybe Sunshine Sayings (pg. 112), it has a splot of sorts, Touches of Texture (pg. 153), Waterfront (pg. 149), you get the idea. Hugs! Donna

  5. Donna, I am just a beginner and still "inadequate" but if it turns out presentable, I will email you with a picture. Only been doing this for a few months. A complete novice. Hugs: M

  6. I like this. I have a dandelion set so I am still on the fence about this. Love it with the splotchy of color too.

    1. I have the other old dandelion set too, but since I want others to have this one too, I must have it... plus I really like it!
