Ribbit, Ribbit

This great little So Hoppy Together card has a little added fun.  Check out the frog's tongue to catch those pesky, but probably tasty to him, flies!

Recipe:
Basic Black - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2', scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Coastal Cabana - 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4" (for attaching the green strips)
Whisper White - 5 1/4" x 4" (for inside panel)
Green Strips (Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Pear Pizzazz, Lemon Lime Twist) 1 5/16" x 5 1/4"
Attach these to Whisper White and run through the Big Shot using the Dot to Dot embossing folder.
Whisper White - Stitched Shapes Circle
Basic Black - Scalloped Circle
Flirty Flamingo - 1/8" wide (frog tongue)
Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (checkered paper) - 1/2" x 2" (snip banner shape in end)
Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green 3/8" reversible ribbon - 1 1/2" (snip banner shape in end)

Stamps - So Hoppy Together, Waterfront (shadow under frog)
Ink - Memento Black, Smoky Slate
Blends - Granny Apple Green Combo

Wind the Flirty Flamingo strip around something small, like a wood skewer or matchstick.  Before you attach the circle with the frog on it to the scalloped circle, cut a little slit with an exacto knife and slip the Flirty Flamingo through the hole and attach to the back.  Adhere to the black scallop and then attach to the front of the card with Dimensionals.

Thank you for looking in today to see our cheeky little frog card!

Happy Monday.... (ugh!)

  1. Love that embossing folder used here with the frog. I thought about doing the tongue quilt sort of thing but figured it would get smashed in the mail. But, if I am sending it with something in a box, I think I might try it. Fun!

    1. I was worried about it getting smashed too, but like you said, it could go inside a box instead of a smooshy envelope.

Thank you for taking the time to comment!
